OBJ should be setting an example for these kids, but he's only concerned about himself. The money thing caused a pain in the ass with the NCAA, he interrupted the HC during his post-game speech and he put his hands on a man simply trying to do his job. FUck him. Watching Whitlock now on FS1 and he agrees 100%. If you're an apologist for this idiot, you are an idiot.

You have to wonder about the mind set of someone like that. I'm assuming it comes with being coddled his whole life. He's never suffered any negative consequences due to his behavior. Add in the multi-million dollar salary and he feels untouchable. But predictably he will apologize, act all noble and then a month from now do something just a stupid. But hey, he's fast and can catch a ball.

Its no surprise, the guys a coddled, self-entitled douche, treated like BMOC his whole life cause hes fast and can catch a ball, and he acts like he can do no wrong.
That whole thing was a "look at me" episode, from the handing out money, to interrupting Coach O, to slapping a POs ass. Im glad he's facing some consequences.

Wow. The hits keep on coming. (pun intended). How can people be so dumb as to think this would never come out? They should be banned for stupidity. Manfred HAS to go after players now or this farce is even farcier. These mean HUNDREDS of players need to be interviewed/investigated now. A month before Spring Training.

All Boston cheaters need to be banned and stripped of all cheating across all sports. This needs to carry over to belicheat and twat Brades. They set this bullshit in motion with goodell help. And Kraft and son must be banned for life.

He goes to school the following Monday and his math teacher tells him he as too many absences for her to pass him, even though he had a passing grade, somehow. She tells him she has to go see Mr. so and so in the guidance office. He goes down there and the administrator is back slapping him and telling he was the reason they won on Sat night yada yada yada. All said and done the Administrator erases two absences from his record , he passes the class and goes to college. This is HS lax in NC not big time HS/college football. I can only imagine what these guys get away with during their early years that make them feel impervious to rules.

Tho, like you said, my sopne never saw any of the school athletes show up to class at all in 4 years. (Div l)

Tho, like you said, my sopne never saw any of the school athletes show up to class at all in 4 years. (Div l) Totally. I went to a D-III school, but friends who went to D-I schools have said many times that, especially the athletes in the big money-making sports like football, these guys were scarcely seen in class. I knew guys in high school on LI that were absolute moron mouth-breathers that went to top schools to play lax - some graduated, others got booted for conduct issues from what Ive heard - but if they didnt play lax at a high level, they wouldn't have sniffed those schools. You've got everyone from high school coaches, admins, and students kissing these guys asses, then they go to college, where its the same thing, and they don't even have to show up to class, and then they make the NFL, where they have even more handlers, hangers-ons, etc. kissing their asses. And then people act shocked when these dudes expect to get away with murder? Sometimes literally?
