Why aren't the Redskins keeping him? Because he doesn’t want to be there He had a lump on his head, the Redskins doctors told him everything was fine, and then it turned out to be a cancerous growth that he had to have removed. So he sat out all of last year and told Washington to go fuck themselves. Oh damn! Yeah can't say I blame the man... And also I can't imagine he would want to go to the Jets, but maybe he likes JD But prob not lol

I believe Williams is 32, just about the age some guys are looking for a big pay day from a sucker team and retire in place. He may not be this type of guy but I suggest drafting the Jets new LT or if they choose fee agency, get someone in their mid 20's. As always, draft smart players not some physical specimen. If the Jets draft a guy and I hear the phrase: "He has a lot of upside but needs work" I'm going to jump off a building.

DJ Humphries got $15M a year from the Cardinals. Any decent OT is going to cost money. Adding Williams and Conklin gives them a lot of flexibility going into the draft.

This Hell, bringing back a completely average, 31 year old LT like Beachum is bound to cost $12-13 million per. The Jets got him for a bargain 4 years ago at $8 million a year when he had a reputation as an injury prone, fringe starter. Since then the cap has increased exponentially and he’s missed a total of 3 games during his tenure here.

The Jets are going to have to spend money to upgrade the O line period. However, that's the foundation of the team and needs to be done. There are no quick fixes. The Jets can try to dance around the issue but they need to draft solid guys for the line and spend money in FA to upgrade. It's gotten to the point I don't care if they have a #1 receiver, running back, tight end, etc because it doesn't make any difference if you don't have the time to throw to them or a bunch of guys who should be loading UPS trucks getting pushed all over the field. Get a LT, RT and Center, move Jonotthon Harrison to guard and put Winters at the other guard for less money or see what's out there.
