The way things are going looks like a high pick in the 2022 draft to already go with a 1st Round Pick From the Seahawks; a 2nd Round Pick From the Panthers; A 4th Round Pick From the Panthers; a 5th Round Pick From the Steelers; and two 6th Round Picks From the Bucks and 49'ers respectively. Joe, get off your ass and fix the O line, new Center, Right Guard and Right Tackle would be nice.

It was so great having Mangold and Brick as our anchors. Then Faneca and other names I can't remember because they were actually good.

I really feel bad for Wilson. There's almost nothing he can do. With the O-line, the WRs drops and inability to get open, the playcalling, and keeping Mims off the field, I'm surprised it hasn't been worse. I would get a veteran QB (who would have to be crazy at this point to sign with the Jets) and start him the rest of the way. No way can this be good for Wilson long term.

Ok, the jets have tried the bargain basement, economy route for their O line. They have went out and got an injury prone Bekton and a still learning Vera-Tucker. Time to invest in some proven free agents or draft O line guys in 2022. On another note, I watched the Cowboys the other night. It doesn't appear Cee Dee Lamb has a problem catching the football.

I don't think you can fault him on Becton or Tucker. They were both highly touted prospects and he traded up to get Tucker which was hailed as a great move.

I wasn't they are both still learning the pro game and are dealing with and have dealt with injuries. I'm not worried about the left side of the line, it's the center, RG and RT which is worrying me. To state the obvious, Wilson getting pummeled every week is not helping his development. I don't want to jinx him but it's a matter of time before the line gets him injured and the Jets have another issue to deal with.

There are so many bad olines currently. Could be because Dlines have gotten so big and fast that the Oline scheme hasn't developed a way to contend with it. The other issue could be that we are using a system that doesn't play to our players strengths instead of tailoring it to them. Zone blocking for players that don't zone block well or whatever.

Good points, agreed. The statement I'm blocking the A gap when no one is rushing it allowing a free run at Wilson is a recipe for disaster. I'd like to hear what Mangold, Faneca, Ferguson, Moore and Damien Woody think of a statement like that. You can bet those guys wouldn't just stand there and not block anyone. I'm betting their head was always on a swivel and deviate from their primary assignment to protect their QB. I also wonder in the age of COVID if the O line gets together anymore for dinner during the week to build chemistry and comradery. I think Vinny T and Chad use to take them out once a week for dinner and cocktails.
