The other option I was thinking was to go Neil or Ekwonu with the 4th pick. Then go Sauce Gardner with the 10th pick.
Then, if he’s still on the board, I’d trade pick 35 (3rd Round / 3rd pick) & 69 (4th Round / 5th pick) to move back into the 1st Round in the 20s & get Jameson Williams. Generally I hate drafting guys with injury histories & he’s coming off of a torn ACL but the dude is a stud. A legit #1 receiver & he would have been long gone as the the 1st WR taken in the draft if not for the injury. I would definitely use up some draft capital to get him.

Was just going to post that here Trades. That’s a great sign. But I would still like to go after Neil or Ekwonu & at 10, I would go WR Drake London. Can never have enough Oline in my opinion

Suffered wayyy too long since the days of Mawae, Fabini, etc. How many times do you gotta touch a hot stove?

Obviously, the biggest issue that the Jets have had in their history has been the lack of a franchise QB for most of it. Wilson looks like he can be one but not if he takes a beating every game.
This is a offensively driven league. So let’s build a good offense by building up the line & getting a true #1 WR & good tight ends.
If we do that, we will still have a shitty D but it will bring excitement to the team. That’s good for the fans & it can also help reduce the stigma of this team being a clown show. And that can make it a desirable place for free agents in the future. Because right now, nobody wants to come here as a free agent unless we overpay them.
Then next year, concentrate on the D.
That sounds to me like the best way to become respectable as quickly as possible.

Meh..I'll become a believer if he blows people up in TC. Posting your workouts is total fluff and over blown. There were the same videos before this season and he sucked and got fat.

Anyone know the deal with Lawson? My order of priorities: edge monster, OLine, TE, CB

I'd give the Cowboys a 4th for Cooper and Schultz assuming we could sign him. A 4th for both? I'd start there. Cooper is gone it sounds like and probaby Schultz. Throw something in from next years draft if you have to.

That sounds to me like the best way to become respectable as quickly as possible. How many QBs could have been good if not great had they had time to make a read and throw or had an OC who could scheme properly. One of Brady's best attributes (other than owning the refs, having a device to let him know when he had blindside pressure and knowing the plays before hand) was getting rid of the ball faster than any other QB. A lot of that has to do with play design. How is it that very few offenses do this?
