Good Day Jets fans....
on this day in 1979 Former Jets DB Jon McGraw was born in Louisville, KY.
Jon played for the Jets from 2002-2004.
He then went on to play for The Lions and the Chiefs.....

Also on April 2, in 2007, FA DE David Bowens signed his 3-year deal with the Jets. The contract was worth $6.1 million, with an additional $2 million in incentives.  Bowens played two years for the Jets before being waived in February of 2009. On the same date, 4/2/07, the Jets waived Phil Silva, a WR out of Rowan University in NJ, who had been signed to a futures contract in February. |

Jon McGraw aka the new John Lynch as dubbed by Herm Edwards. I had high hopes for him after his rookie year. It's a shame that he was constantly injured and never put it all together.
