As I said a few weeks ago, people have an extreme hatred for Rex Ryan really need to be careful what they wish for. The NFL coaching scene is like a merry-go-round and no matter how bad coaches are, its hard to fall off of it. Every once in a while a Chip Kelly manages to hop on board, but the other nine times out of ten, it's some old shitty coach like Schwartz or Singletary that gets the job instead. I'm not saying Rex is a good coach, but the grass isn't always greener on the other side either. No one hates Rex. No one. He's a great guy. We all simply realize he's finished here, fairly or not. It's over. I don't think anyone here doesn't wish him the best. I know I do. And I know he'll be back on his feet in no time but IMO, as a DC in DC. I've long ago predicted his being hired to take over for Jim Haslett who'll be gone. He's not getting a HC gig after this dumpster fire. Well said. He is a good guy but his time has run out here. But his pride will not allow him to be a DC in this league so I think he will be taking a TV deal as an analyst. He's definitely got the right personality for it.

I'd take Jim Schwartz first. May the Schwartz be with you but not with the Jets..
