I read up on this. That's a lot of miles to cover in 1.5 months tho. A little over 10m a day. Is this a relatively moderate trail?

It's not a difficult trail for experienced trail hikers but it certainly has so hairy points for people with little experience. Most days are 2000m up and 2000m down some days cover just a few miles but some at 25+

Now you question European Mountaineers from the comfort of your Gubmint cot?
I love your defeated spirit, swinging wildly from its place in the trash bin.
Any advice for Astronauts?

Who said anything about fat chicks? Since you bring it up however... Let's not pretend I'm the only guy in the world that's gotten drunk and fucked a chick that wouldn't be mistaken for Mila Kunitz. But you are correct, I spent a lot of my 20's, well most all of it, drinking I'm a bar somewhere. I don't have an issue picking up chicks and/or getting them to sleep with me. I turn it down more than I get shot down. I've got one now trying to rekindle some shit, mostly cause she's leaving town and now that I'm sober I'm just that much more attractive... Too bad she screwed that pooch last year. Either way, I'm perfectly happy being alone. I used to not be. And part of that self discovery comes in the form of my passion for the great outdoors. I hike a lot. I've watched many documentaries over the years of people doing extraordinary trips like the one mentioned in this thread. It takes a lot of balls and dedication to attempt something like that and thus what Ricard is doing piques my interest and has my utmost respect in that "arena"... He could be a total shitbag of a human being so I must clarify that.
