You know what else really sucks. Watching Mariotta and Odell Beckham. Two guys that we could have had if not for "feel good" wins.

He and Brick are definitely on the back nine. The back nine? Mangold is already sitting in the 19th hole on his 4th double cheeseburger and Brick is tapping in on the 18th. Jets should have been looking for their replacements 2 years ago when they had 12 draft picks.

LOL @ the notion that Idzik and the absolute fucking joke of a draft group we had would all of the sudden draft great if we had only lost a few more games... and not kept Rex around.

Didn't he get plenty of exercise already running to his phone to report his car being stolen out of his garage? Nah, he lives in a safe town and is armed. I guess you didn't hear this story He must have burned 400 calories at least there

I was hoping we'd trade up last year, but we got Winters, Dozier and Aboushi. I was hoping we'd trade down this year, and we got nothing. Did they really think these guys (plus Carpenter) would be good enough? That Geno would manage by slinging it and they wouldn't get the box stacked on them? Don't know what to think.

Mangold is still a good Center. Definitely top 5. At his apex, he was the top Center in football and #2 wasn't anywhere close.
His drop off seems so large because he dropped from such a high point. It's a large drop off non the less, but he's still an above average NFL starter.
Brick on the other hand, average at best.

That Geno would manage by slinging it and they wouldn't get the box stacked on them? Don't know what to think. Probably not. They probably just fixed what they felt they could and hoped that our WRs would open things up for the RBs and vice versa. OL and LB are major areas heading into next off season. QB too, but that goes without saying for the past 40 years. We threw the ball 58 times last week. I know we were playing catch up the entire game but anytime your QB is Ryan Fitzpatrick and you throw 58 times you are gonna lose. And that makes your OL look worse bc they know you are throwing every play. They just pin their ears back and go.
