Perfection. I bet that tasted even better than it looks. We'd be fighting over those bones in my house.
Merry Christmas.

Damn, TGJ, my roast came out great, but no where near as good as that looks. That's awesome.

Turn the grill on high. Get it as hot as possible. Put the prime rib on one side for 12 minutes. Flip it to the other side for another 12 minutes. Should be perfect after that. Yep. I'm gonna do it like that in a couple hours

Now fer a variation on this dee-lishus theme, I have a small family (me Mrs flushingjet and our teen monster) and as is my wont I went for quality over quantity. For new years eve, picked up 5 lbs fresh Yukon gold tatos. and some garlic, carrots, shallots along with a 4.5 lb. $22.99 Lb prime grade ribeye roast from Balducci's in Scarsdale (2 Ribz). Fairway had it for $14.99 but I don't like theirs as much. Interestingly Balducci, Kings are corporate siblings and you can find a lot of the same quality. The Club Coupon saved us $11. Here's the sitch: Take the roast and place in pan With some cut up garlic bulbs, shallots and halved carrots. Rub some evoo, then some Worcestershire sauce over the top fat cap to baste. Roast uncovered for 15- 20 mins at 395 to brown then cover with some parchment and foil tent and let this guy roast at 365 for another 55 or so till medium rare then Remove from heat to stand for another 10-15. Spouse whipped up taters that had cooked for 1 hr+ till soft with half and half ,butter and salt to taste. ..better than any restaurant

What a beauty. Creekstone farms has great product. I'm sure you know, but they also have nice ABF Duroc Pork program.
