Posted by Michael David Smith on December 17, 2014, 6:37 PM EST AP The Bears’ collapse has reached epic proportions, as Jay Cutler has lost his job as Chicago’s starting quarterback. Cutler has been benched and Jimmy Clausen will start on Sunday against the Lions, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. For Cutler to get benched after playing just 14 games into the enormous contract he signed this offseason demonstrates just how big the mess in Chicago is. That contract may cost both Bears G.M. Phil Emery and Bears coach Marc Trestman their jobs. And Cutler’s play has already cost him his job. Whether Cutler has any future in Chicago or anywhere else in the NFL remains to be seen, but at the present, Clausen is the Bears’ starting quarterback. link

Good thing they signed him to that seven year deal in the offseason.

Say he leaves the Bears. How does that contract play out with another team.

Jimmy Clausen is a more viable option than Cutler right now for someone. No one should want Cutler anywhere near this team.

From what I have heard on talk radio here in Chicago, I think a new team would inherit 2 years / $31.5MM guaranteed.

Gee, what a shame. Their pizza sucks big time ass as well. The only thing I regret about Cutler is him getting traded from Denver. It would have been so much more fun to see the Donkeys suffer with that turd. Clearly McDaniels is having a good laugh over this tonight.

Third coach throwing in the towel on him. Its a shame b.c one day he is going to regret being a dooshbag. All the talent in the world and he actually has brains too but he is just a jerkoff.

What is actually wrong with this guy? What goes wrong when he's on the field?
