The Jets lost by only two points last time to the Pasts*, at Foxboro. Are they better or worse or the same as back then? They are still playing hard. Is it impossible for them to win? 4 out of the 5 last Jets vs Fats games were decided by 3 points or fewer. The exception was that very exceptional buttfumble game. I hope Folk's leg is okay - because that (and Quigley's) may be an outsized factor in the game. The Pats game at MetLife is always intense. And I know the players - most of them anyway - love Rex and I cannot but imagine they want to give him one last hurrah. I suppose we'll be able to tell pretty quickly. But I am predicting playoff intensity.

Pace is a long-time Rex discipline so it's surprising to hear him say such mature words:
Wow, you don't hear that kind of intelligent, respectful yet competitive talk out of Jets players these days. Well said, Pace.

Kerley, on the other hand...
Colon wants to say what Kerley is saying then kind of gets it, and stops himself from sounding like more of an ass. Kerley decides to keep on going, though.
It's only fitting that in Rex's possibly last game against the Pats, his players emulate the biggest mantra BB instills in his players in big games: "they don't respect us."

It must kill SAR these days. He's languishing over on other boards still pining for Mark Sanchez.
The biggest issue for SAR is the the Jets are the one thing that money can't improve. The NFL requires luck and solid management to be successful. You can't buy your way out of mediocrity and that's what kills SAR the most. He can buy any lease he wants and watch the Yankees buy whatever they want. But he can't buy a Jets Superbowl as much as it kills him.

Lot of offensive guys out for the Pats. I'd almost think Belly is trying to tank this game and ruin our draft slot. But Sparklepony is still playing.... so maybe not.
PS. Gasbag, stop making that idiot SAR relevant. He's not. He's just a bore.

Belly hates Peyton more than he hates the Jets, sorry. He is his white whale, long before Rex came around. Balls out today. You think Pats want to spite Rex and go to Denver?

I don't think the Jets are any worse but I think the Pats have improved on the oline protecting brady after the mess when Logan Mankins was traded to the bucs. On defense, Revis is playing much better. I don't think it's impossible for them to win but I think it's unlikely. I think the Jets have to run the ball to keep it out of the hands of Brady and then hope for some turnovers. They can't compete in the passing game against the Pats. Special teams may be a factor and so far the Jets special teams have looked crap. I am presuming that everyone knows that Edelman is out so let's see what Amandola brings. Second last game of the season for Jets fans, a eight month stretch before the next one, here's hoping it's entertaining.

It expect a close game. Edelman out is huge. He's Brady's binkie.
Rex is probably a complete basket case at this point and the players see it. They are all playing for jobs right now. With fans wanting to tank, they have that "us against the world" attitude which words wonders in the NFL.
Jets are going to come out balls out, the Patz are a slow starting team, will be interesting to see if they can match the intensity.
Enjoy your day fellas.
