Big raise, doesn't need to move his family.
Great for Snacks, sucks for us.

Hope he can play 3 downs for them instead of the 2 he played for us. The more playing time, the better our comp pick will be.
Same for Ivory, though I seriously doubt he gets more than 50% paying time with Yeldon there.

Giants have been 4-3 for a while. Snacks at DT? Now they've got JPP for another year and he is a solid 4-3 DE. Are they going to switch to 3-4 and stand JPP up? Dumb. Leave JPP with what's left of his hand in the dirt, and stick to the 4-3 so Snacks can get more playing time.

Like you pointed out, the more he plays, the better our comp pick, so hoepfully they do get him int he lineup and give him a chance to prove he is a 3 down DT.

And, with respect to comp picks, the acquisition of Forte will offset the loss of one of Ivory or Snacks depending on the $$$$. Reduction in comp pick "money", so to speak.

I'd like to know how we are fitting Forte into our $6 million remaining cap. Did we cut/restructure anyone?
