pretty sure you don't need and NFL QB whisperer to know not to take a sack when in range for the winning FG, HS QB's know that Worse, he keeps doing it. Idiot is like the king of losing 20 yards on a sack. Don't gimme no more of dat G-nope.

Yeah, because Sanchez just isn't a very good QB. But at least Chip Kelly doesn't sit there and handcuff the shit out of whoever he has behind center. None of this ridiculous shit where you run the ball 50 times while only passing it 8 times leading up to the final drive and then you expect your young QB to lead an 80 yard scoring drive with less than 2 minutes in the game. If you think that was Marty's idea then I've got a bridge to sell you. If Schittenheimer went off the reservation with his 60 pass plays in one game, Marty sure would have no such reservations. Especially knowing everyone is getting fired anyway Yeah, so if it was up to Marty I guarantee that he would've had Geno throwing the ball at least 30-35 times. Might as well go out doing things his way. That gameplan against Miami had Rex's paw prints all over it. I don't even see how that's debatable.

You think that the gameplan against Miami was Marty's doing? Not the HC who constantly preaches "ground and pound", forces the goofy wildcat shit down every OC's throat, and is so quick to implement some kindergarten-esque "red, yellow, green" color coded system as soon as a young QB has a couple of hiccups? You can't be serious

Well, at least he seems to have hit his target. Could an offensive guru save Geno? Long odds, but you never know. NO; it's just that Geno knows who brought him to the Jets. Geno wants to stay with John Idzik.

"To reset and re-adjust is a tough thing to do, but we're professionals and we have to do it," Smith continued. " A change at QB would be good for us all, so if it happens -- when it happens -- then we'll see." Fixed

When asked about dealing with coaching changes while at West Virginia, Smith told reporters. "It is all about what you make it," Smith said. "I think the toughest part about it is not being able to continue to play for the same coach the same guy that you learned to love, you invest so much in, and you believe [in] them. To reset and readjust is a tough thing to do, but we are professionals and we have to do it. A change could be good for us all, so if it happens, when it happens, then we will see." But the title of the article reads, "Jets QB Geno Smith: Coaching 'change could be good for us all'" How misleading. He was talking about when he went through a coaching change in college. fantasynews.cbssports.com/fantasyfootball/update/24912909/jets-qb-geno-smith-coaching-change-could-be-good-for-us-all

He said 'a change could be good for us'. That means now, and the future. Even worse, it sounds like he thinks that he has failed because of the coaching, not his own ineptitude, because coaches in college were able to adapt their offense to suit his limited skillset. Sounds like he hasn't realized that the NFL is a whole different ballgame, for big boys. I never like the guy or thought he was going to be the Jets franchise QB but the more I hear, the more I detest him. Hopefully he's on the Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad next year.

Perhaps the fault lies in his failure to recognize that a blitz was coming? Later in the afternoon, Russell Wilson read a blitz, knew it meant Larry Foote would be covering his TE and threw a pass that went about 15 yds downfield that turned into a long TD. BTW, who didn't know that the Pats*** were Blitzing on 3d down with the Jets in FG range? (Other than Geno) More importantly, how about asking why they called a pass play in that scenario and put Geno in that position when they are in FG range when the following negative things could happen: a) an interception, b) an incomplete pass stopping the clock and giving Pats** time after our FG attempt or c) a sack pushing us out of FG range (which did happen). Why didn't they just run the ball to try to get closer and run off more clock? To me, that's a synopsis of Rex's tenure here. more, more importantly...Mangold was out...pressure came up them middle then...why wasn't geno rolling out...i mean didn't they know that?

That play was a designed roll-over. Made it happen, Idzik.

Geno don't know what the hell he's doing Now that's the understatement of the year right there. He's not only fucking up on the field....He's fucking up off it, too.
