I believe he will go to TV first. I don't doubt he could get a job immediately, but something tells me he will take the money and a little break, especially if the teams he gets offers for aren't ideal. I think teams will certainly want him as a head coach, and what we have seen is the further coaches are out of football the more they are sought after. Cower and Gruden, albeit different situations since they both have rings, are patiently waiting for the perfect opportunity because they have that luxury. I think Rex would benefit a little bit if he waited say a year or two. With that being said, I understand rex's passion and wouldn't be surprised if he immediately accepted a head coaching position.

Also I'll add if he does coach somewhere else, out of the three teams you mentioned, I think the best scenario would have to be Atlanta. They have a proven quarterback there with lots of offensive talent. All Rex needs to do is handle that defense which we know he could help. The Chicago team is appealing because they also have firepower, but the question mark at QB is a little alarming. Cutler is OK but they may move on from him.

The ATL QB situation is solidified and as long as Ryan's Oline stays healthy this would be the best option. Rex would be a perennial playoff coach there, NFC South is weak and ATL is already near the top of that division year in.

Why is there no DC option? That's his most likely stop.
While not impossible, it's foolish to think he's guaranteed to find another HC job coming off of a 3-4 win season....

I think he takes a year off from coaching and goes to NFLN, one of the weeknight shows that are less TMZ like, more real football talk. Maybe a reunion with Ed Reed. They miss each other.

I think he proved he's capable of winning with a good team around him, and a team like Atlanta may think theyre one phase away from sb, which is where Rex comes in.

I don't think he's HC material and I'd be surprised to see a team take a chance on him seeing the 6 years of circusry, ridiculously bold predictions. I don't think GM's and owners take kindly to such brashness. John Fox landed the Denver job after going 2-14 but this is a sustained rate of failure the past 4 years. I think too many of you are glossing over his negatives.

He'll be on TV
Multiple reports have surfaced stating that Rex would rather take some time off from coaching.
And after a year or two of smiling into the camera, some team will throw another HC opportunity his way.
I don't think Rex wants to be a DC again.
