They just won the SB, the fanbase will give them slack for breaking in a new qb. Not even a comparable situation at all.

It's like being hungover after an awesome party... yeah, you sort of want to be ready to party again the next night, but if not, you partied your ass off the night before - booze, 2 chicks giving you a hummer at the same time, patio furniture in the pool.. who cares about the next party!?

at some point the management has to say fuck these armchair managers and make decisions that are in the best interest of the franchise. it's their jobs on the line not ours. other points Shitzlovers will use 1. Gailey and Shitz are a match made in heaven. They almost married in the off season 2. Gailey is the QB whisperer 3.Shitz wouldnt do as well in their system because he was built for ours. 4. their defense is good enough to with stand shitty qb play....our defense must have been shitty last year I guess #FUCKFITZ

You don't spend that kind of money on Von Miller to not go for another SB they have a built up team to win now. It is comparable in the Jets are built to win now. If Fitz was the great QB that could give the Broncos another SB then the Broncos would have signed him. The Bronco willing to chance it with a project QB instead of signing Fitz shows that they must see who Fitz really is as a QB.

If we're starting Breno at RT, we're not in a "win now" mode.

If we're starting Breno at RT, we're not in a "win now" mode. if you think RT is a more important position than QB then you sir have questionable football insight.

When you draft/have "the future" on the roster, you can do a lot of things, including sell the fanbase a preseason duel between Sanchez and Siemian. We could have trotted Geno vs Petty out there with zero backlash if Lynch was a Jet... but Macc drafted the most unsettling QB in draft history, ever. Literally.

Manziel was a hell lot more unsettling, and that was only two years ago.

Those were clear cases of lightning in a bottle straw grabs. When you draft tebow, you're buying into developing an offense around their strengths and acknowledging a certain level of "we'll see, the jury is out and we all know it".. it's not the same as a guy with hackenbergs pedigree and profile.
