I swear to God we better know by tonight. If we waste time like we did with the GM search we will end up with another POS candidate.

If Rex isn't gone by tomorrow morning, then this team really is fucked until Woody either croaks or sells the team.
His infatuation with this clown is fucking weird to say the least.

No where does this say Rex will be retained. It's says it willbe up to the new GM

Makes perfect sense to have a new GM with Rex-as the last go round worked so well. Really, that this is even being considered is an even bigger joke than Rex as a HC.

The more this crap comes out today, the more I'm starting to think this is a smear campaign by Rex's camp to make him look as good as possible and the Jets as bad as possible to increase his job chances next year.

I was thinking the same thing The leak about the Jets supposedly not allowing Rex to speak about his dad Buddy, the reports of Woody and Co. going behind Rex's back to talk about another HC candidate with Rex's agent, etc.

The only place that makes the slightest bit of sense is Atlanta. They already have an explosive offense in place headed by a legitimate franchise QB. Although I guess the Raiders would be dumb enough to go after him thus basically ending Derek Carr's promising career.

Yup that seems to be the theme throughout the media. And why not? The guy provides them excellent sound bites.

Plus the fact that Rex has come out and say he will Not take a dc position
