Absolutely love him. A day one starter at LT and definitely a first rounder. He's already polished with great feet and strength and excels at second level blocks...also has a nasty streak. From that one video, I'm a huge fan but I'll dig deeper in the coming months. It's also nice too see him do that against a team like Bama. You might also like Danny Isidora OG Miami. And Tyler Orlosky C WVU who I mentioned earlier. We need to draft some Tackles and I've been complaining about it for years. I think we're set at Guard if Winters re-signs and I'm probably in the minority when it comes to Mangold because I still think he has a couple of years left and we can't cut everyone in the offseason. The last time we used a somewhat higher pick on a Tackle prospect was Vlad and that was two GM's ago. With that said, I'll check those guys out because I love those Olineman.

I really like Dan Skipper out of Arkansas.
Guy is a fucking mountain at 6'10 320 and a natural fit at RT. Just straight up pushes dudes around in the running game. Doesn't have the incredibly sloppy footwork of a Zach Banner either.

I'm also not a fan of Banner but I'd burn a late pick on him, if he ever gets in better shape you could have a monster at RT. It's doubtful it ever happens, that's why I'm only using a late pick on him.

Just got done with Garrett Bolles and overall I don't like him. Cons: He is way too upright in his stance negating any leverage. On many plays it looks like his top half is going one way and the bottom half the other. Terrible at locating his man on the second level and even on traps when he is pulling. For some odd reason, he's slow off the snap and one of the last guys out of his stance. Lacks strength and lets the defender strike him first, which leads to what I mentioned earlier with his body going different ways. Looks like a penalty machine with holding at the next level. Pros: He has decent feet....nothing spectacular and looks like he might have a mean streak. That's it. I'm going to pass on McGlinchey because he already stated he's returning next year. Sounds like another Ronnie Stanley situation although he sounds like the consensus number one tackle if he does declare. Right now I have no comment on him.

Just got done with the Ryan Ramczyk tape against Ohio State and I like him much better than Bolles.
Pros: He is excellent when it comes too positional blocking and walling off his man. He's a better athlete than Bolles and he can locate at the second level somewhat decently. If he gets a hold of you he has a good push and seems like a smart player by releasing his man and moving onto the next. Some players never figure that out.
Cons: He doesn't have the fastest feet but they are adequate. His base is way too narrow and his kick step looks like he's taking baby steps......not good but it should be coachable.
Just watching the one tape I think he kicks inside to guard because speed rushers will probably eat him up at the next level. I don't see LT in him, maybe a year or two or ten at guard, and then a kick out to RT. Overall I liked his game.

I really like Dan Skipper out of Arkansas. Just watched his Auburn tape and I like him. Pros: Big muthafucka that has the ability too add even more weight. Plays with a nice wide base and is gifted athletically because he pulls very well. In the run game he was killing people 5+ yards down the field. Uses his hands well too engage. Cons: Like most lineman he gets overextended at times causing him to lose balance, but with a 6'10" guy he's not that bad. His kick slide is not great but it's not bad. He has problems when he has to adjust to a double move. And with all of these prospects they just can't locate their man at the second level, although I think he could get it because he runs very well for a man that size. Overall I like him and am thinking late 2nd through third. That's it for tonight, anybody else got any breakdowns on these players, or others?

He's tall? lol. I have watched him, he looks pretty athletic and relatively lean for an offensive tackle, but I don't have the knowledge to pick up on the nuances that you catch on to.

Huh? If I did I take it back. I normally get more involved in the players after the season is over but I'll check them out. My write-ups on the other guys are only based on watching one game from each player so take it for what its worth. I honestly have no clue where any of the players are predicted to be drafted but even by watching one tape you can get an idea about their fundamentals and their athleticism. Some players I never make it past a half because they are so bad.

For me a LT prospect is all about the length and feet.....everything else can be coached.

One other thing that sucks at DB this year is they are going the full 15 minutes per player and showing multiple replays of highlight plays. Seriously, who GAF about those plays when watching a prospect.
