Big arm, lightening quick release, accurate, athletic, smart, a true leader. Get him him back practicing as quickly as possible and get him on the field. The real deal, the franchise QB we've been clamoring for. I appreciate everything Fitz has done but it's time to see him play. Hack is not the answer, awful pick but it won't matter once Petty hits the field. _

I liked him much more than Hack coming out in the draft.

Petty was definitely the best QB in the preseason

At least it will make this season interesting. I don't know how many more weeks I can watch this type of football.

I'd rather let him sit and sacrifice Hack. Then we can expose our GM and CS even more and fire them at the end of the season.

I totally agree. This is the best option. We need to find out what Petty is. Gene will be gone next season, Fitz will be gone, lets see what Bryce is.
and damnit if we do, run Robby Anderson on some freaking deep routes..

I can't find the article but I read something yesterday on the CBS app on my phone that quoted Bowles saying something along the lines of needing more time for Petty and Hack to learn the offence. WTF?!?!? How come I think it is 6 other teams had rookie QBs ready to play but a year 2 QB doesn't know the offense? Something is wrong here and that falls squarely on the Gailey and Bowles. It is inexcusable IMO.

You tailor the offense to their strengths as they continue to learn. Nobody is expecting Peyton Manning out of them.
