Wtf are "refried" beans? Do they take the beans off of a plate someone's decided they were too gross to eat so they scooped them up and "re" fried them? And slopped them on your plate? Not that there's anything wrong with that. _ IDK but it looks like turd paste and I don't touch it

Had a great time!!! There were two rides on Saturday, 60 miles and 84. I opted for the shorter because I still wasn't where I was before the accident fitness-wise, and even if I was, the climbing we did would've changed my mind anyway. For a heavier rider (anyone over ~175), climbs are notoriously difficult. At 215, I'm considered a 'clyde', as in clydesdale. Anyhoo, advantage for us bigger guys are the descents. Here's a small portion of mine off of Mulholland towards the Pacific Coast Highway. I took it kind of average for me (~42 MPH). Second day consisted of a recovery ride, 25 miles, that still had a lot of climbing. Here's some pics prior to which Crossfire can have fun with. The hairy guy is the current two-time world champ, Peter Sagan. About as down to earth as you can get for someone as popular as him. I'll post more tomorrow after I get in. Waiting to take off on the red-eye.

Pretty cool trip. How do you like the S Works? _ Love it, it's my first carbon. I bought the frame and built it up with an Ultegra group. For me, that's more than enough, it's not like spending the extra coin on the Dura-Ace is going to make any difference as I'm too heavy.

Jetworks, Glad you had a good time, I was driving down the 101 on Friday and Sunday and was thinking abouit you, mostly how the weather would be much nicer for you, and the traffic much worse.
Lots of fun stuff to do in the LA area and the people are good there also, hopefully your next trip you will be able to spend some quality time doing the tourist thing.
And I been meaning to ask, How is the dog doing?

Place was great, and "only" a 3 star resort. Certainly wasn't a cheap place.
