All I know about Christopher Wold Johnson is that he is 12 years younger than Woody. I can not find anything on the guy, not even a pic.
Curious that Woody is not putting someone already involved in charge like Neil Glat (thankfully).

One would think taking over the Jets in a day to day capacity would be from a business side.
I doubt this would impact football operations much, if at all.

It probably won't I've never understood the complaint about Woody not being a "football guy" either. How many owners are "football guys" outside of the Rooney's and the Mara's?

It may not have an impact on the draft, but it will most definitely impact decisions as to re-signing players and free agents. The guy standing in Woody's shoes holds the purse strings.

Quite a few (9 I believe) -- and while hardly an indication of success, all but one have been to the playoffs in 2015 and/or 2016. Colts were last in playoffs in 2015, I think. Bill Bidwell - Cardinals Mike Brown - Bengals Jerry Jones - Cowboys Jim Irsay - Colts Clark Hunt - KC Mark Davis - Raiders Jerry Richardson - Panthers Mara - Giants Rooney - Steelers

Being a football guy has nothing to do with it. It's the people he hires to run the football operations. That's the issue I have with him. Employing Charlie Casserly to make decisions on behalf of your franchise says a lot.

Robert Kraft knows 10x more about Velveeta shells and cheese than he does about the intricacies of a Cover 2 defense. But he has 4 Super Bowl rings because he made the smart decisions. There are plenty of reasons to slam Woody, but not being "a football guy" isn't one of them.

Although I bet his fat ass still knows more about the fucking cheese than football.

Well. I thought it was a dream come true that Woody was going to step away. Never considered another probably even more clueless dick would be taking over. Silly me thinking he would pick someone who knows what they are doing. FUCK this organization. I hope they DO go to London. If it bothers you so much, then root for the Pats. Otherwise, shut the fuck up you whiny little bitch. This from the guy with a guy in the shower as an avatar.

We should try to get Thompson from GB. It is rumored they want him out to make way for Eliot Wolf, son of Ron, who is much younger and well thought of by GB.

I guess I don't consider those, or a budget, day to day operational items. I invisoned it as Woody gives Mac a spending limit, and Mac makes those decisions. I have no basis behind that, just the way I imagined it.

There are plenty of reasons to slam Woody, but not being "a football guy" isn't one of them. Being a football guy and/or football ownership family does not guarantee anything. And likewise, just because you are not a football guy, it doesn't mean you can't succeed. But, that said, I'll take lessons learned from a lifetime of experience it it is available. The Davis, Hunts, Irsays, Maras, Rooneys, etc.. of the world know what a winning football team looks like before it starts to win. They know because they've have experience seeing what it looks like over decades of being involved in football. No one should ever dismiss the value of experience. As to Kraft, I think he is a very good owner, but c'mon, his one and only real decision was to hire BB at the cost of losing draft picks. It was a great, bold move and it showed that he knew, better than others, the true value of the right coach. The rest -- which is essentially stumbling upon Tom Brady -- is a happy accident.
