Gruden has become an all loving hippie since leaving the sidelines himself. Nothing to see here..... What did he say about Mike Smith, and Trestman getting fired?

I don't get it either So Rex's players play hard for him (when his job in on the line anyway)...whoopty shit. These guys are making millions of dollars to play a kids game for a living. The least they can do is give 100% for 60 whole fucking minutes every week. Playing the game at a professional level is not just playing a "kids game". You realize how much preparation and strategy go into a single NFL game? These guys put it out there every single week. It's easy to lose focus and motivation over the course of a season when there is so much riding on the line each and every week. For that alone, Rex deserves accolades for getting his players to play hard for him. Give me a break Some of you guys sound like 10 year olds putting these guys on pedestals as if they're some kind of fucking superheroes.

It's why each generation gets continually worse with regards to effort and drive to produce real success.

Sure but there aren't any 300 lb guys tackling me at my desk or on my way to the coffee machine.

You really need to let this go, it's time to look forward.
Get fucked Gruden, it's easy to sit and say that now but you had no issue rippin Rex on MNF for running the ball 40+ times against the Dolphins.
Gruden has destroyed this team in the past under Rex, You can't win with these guys.

No coach deserves credit for players playing hard, they are professionals and get paid well to play hard. The points to support Rex are an epic fail.

Pulling a name like Gruden to support your agenda is a fail, anyone who has religiously watched this team the last four years should be able to face the reality of the situation. I have said it before, what more does anyone need to see with Rex and this team? Where's your line?

How about the San Diego game? or do we give praise to the almighty Rex when there's effort (which should be a given), but conveniently forget when the effort is not what it should be.
I don't think Rex gets his guys to give any more effort than any other coach, but somehow a few people say " Rex's guys really play hard for him" and it becomes gospel.

I agree with Gruden 100%. Big loss for the NYJ.
With a FQB and decent corners Rex will win a lot of games. He got fired because he never had a QB. But I'm sure some rookie HC has a better chance to win with the same circumstances...
