This kid could have been the QB the jets need. Think the Jets should look at Petty these 2 QBS look like real NFL QBs. not the gadget runaround crap playing at 5

That's what I'm saying it's a good thing we are knocked out of the Winston mariota sweepstakes I think petty is a better QB I wish cook would come out he is a top 6 player But the Jets can either trade backwards and get Petty or grab him in the 2nd round highly doubt he makes it to the 3rd round his stock just went through the roof. |

I saw Cook miss about 5 guys wide open on that last drive. No thank you. Yeah they eventually scored but in the NFL you don't get 2nd and 3rd chances like that. If a guy is open you have to make those plays.

I didn't think so. Poor accuracy. He doesn't look ready. With that said, if he did declare I wouldn't mind using a 3rd round pick on him and considering him a developmental project. |

Boy he looked awful on that last drive. He was missing wide open receivers. I didn't watch the whole game, but his stats weren't too impressive. |

Average accuracy and decision making at the college level. |

I didn't watch the whole game, but his stats weren't too impressive. i am a big Cook fan and would have liked to take a flyer on him in the 3rd round this year... Maybe even in the second... However, he needs to come into a situation where he can sit for a year and learn. His footwork causes him to be a little erratic with the skinny posts and quick slants. He is better served by staying in school for another year and working hard on those things. Good chance he will be the first QB selected if he waits until the 2016 draft and works hard in the interim. |
