Ehh,I feel bad for the guy but he's got nobody to blame but himself. When the FBI interviews you, lawyer up or tell the truth. Lying isn't an option. Not to excuse lying but as DD says they wouldn't have had the audio had there not been an illegal wiretap in the first place. Where are those charges? He should be exonerated with the Fruit of the poisonous tree doctrine. Hearing reports Flynn was running out of money and is selling one of his houses to pay for lawyers. May have just wanted this to go away. They have him on tape. No chance he would win in a D.C. court.

Maybe five years and millions of dollars from now he might have gotten the FISA warrant thrown out and not been convicted but at what cost? It's publicly known that he lied to the FBI and Pence so it's not like he is vindicated or his reputation is restored. Cut a deal and move on.

He should be exonerated with the Fruit of the poisonous tree doctrine. The wiretap was approved by a judge, it wasn't illegal. Was it obtained with bullshit evidence by Fusion GPS? Hell yeah. It doesn't change the fact that he lied to the FBI not to mention Pence. Like I said, I feel bad for the guy but he had 3 options. He chose the worst one. Approved by a judge based on a knowingly falsified dossier.

Fuck, how many committees are looking into this and can't get to the bottom of it? If you're a judge and are presented with "credible evidence" by the FBI you sign off on the warrant. I mean if you told me a year ago that our intelligence agencies were being weaponized to spy on the opposition party's Presidential candidate I don't know if I would have swallowed that, even after the IRS and Lois Lerner. What the Obama administration and Hillary did is truly monstrous in scope and it all needs to see the light of day.

Sessions could ask Mueller and Rosenstein to submit to a DOJ ethics/review panel to see if they should recuse themselves from these investigations. He hasn't done it and there is no doubt in my mind that they would be asked to recuse/resign because of obvious conflicts. I tell myself that Trump/Sessions could get rid of these guys anytime they want but then I read shit like this and I wonder if Trump is getting played. thehill.com/regulation/court-battles/362771-appeals-court-rules-against-releasing-draft-whitewater-indictments?ampCliffs. Sessions DOJ brought a suit to block the release of whitewater investigations/indictments brought by Judicial Watch. This is Tom Fittons Twitter. He runs Judicial Watch.

I'm seeing a lot of speculation that Flynn had to have known that he was recorded because of who he was talking to and knowing that why would he lie to the FBI when he just could have chosen not to speak with them. It's a good point, but I can't see the end game yet.

Just read something interesting. They said Flynn couldn't testify because of the NDAs that Flynn signed with the government/Intelligence agencies. They said Flynn tried to get the NDAs lifted before he testified but the government didn't go for it. Remember the Uranium One informant was threatened with the loss of his freedom if he broke his NDA.
Flynns attorney said that he had a very interesting story to tell should the circumstances permit. Flynns agreement says "Your client shall promptly to turn over to this Office any and all evidence of crimes about which your client is aware.". This guy says his NDAs are all gone and he can testify freely. If this scenario is true that makes sense.
The White House also said today that the Obama Administration told Flynn to make the call that was wiretapped. Remember it happened when Flynn worked for Obama.

How much time can he get for that? They ought to charge him with some terrorism shit and lock him up forever. The guy has repeatedly invaded our country and committed crimes.

Interesting take on the Flynn story from someone who knows more than any bloviating blowhard on any network. So Mueller allowed his best witness for obstruction (Comey) testify before Congress, admit to leaking and write a book. And now his would-be best witness for Trump collusion has confessed to being a liar.
