Listening to the OC talk to Stewart on the phone it is pretty clear he is a plain spoken players coach. The guy sounds like he is the type who really can rally the troops. I like that. I hate the "professor" type OCs.

Consensus was that the two safeties improve the D tremendously. They can both play Free or Strong allowing for disguising of coverage. They are both sure tacklers. They flat out said Pryor is a terrible tackler. They allow the CB to play tight in short coverage because they will not hang the CB out to dry on a deep pass. They asked how many times did we see a CB get beat deep with no S in the picture. They also thought it would help Leo (but did not go into detail as to how).
In a nutshell, the consensus was that the loved the drafting of the 2 safeties.

As to Stewart, Tony Pauline thought there were two more talented WRs available -- Godwin and someone else. But Colon, Lucas, and Westhead preferred Stewart because of his toughness. Someone said a scout had compared Stewart to Anquan Bolden. Lucas said being tough and reliable was really important and Stewart reminded him of Chrebet in that regard.

Cool thanks for the recap on what was said , only one opinion I really care about is westoff , Lucus usually won't bash the team

Thought he's the kind of guy who makes the tough catch in a clutch situation. Westhead also thought they really improved the special teams. I think they said Hansen may return punts and McGuire would handle knock-offs.

They are both sure tacklers. I like the Adams pick but I'm not sure how anyone can say Maye is a good tackler. His technique is atrocious....like he never learned the proper way. Go watch a couple of his game tapes and you'll see what I'm talking about. His preferred method is to grab the guy around the shoulder pads and try and fling him to the ground.

Perhaps his technique is lacking and they mainly meant he was a "willing" tackler. I did notice that project football focus had this note on Maye. "Second-highest run-stop percentage among SEC safeties in 2016 — both overall and when lined up within 8 yards of the line of scrimmage."
