There might be something to this. You never really hear his name being mentioned for interviews. You would think someone with his credentials would have gotten a shot by now if they wanted it. I hope he comes back here but I have a feeling he ends up following Rex. If Rex ends up not coaching I am sure he will land somewhere. How could Rex not end up coaching somewhere - it was all Idzik's fault. He's the greatest coach in the world. The other teams were going to be lining up to hire him 5 minutes after he was cut loose. He was going to have his pick of jobs. Maybe the other teams have figured out that he's missed the playoffs 4 years in row. Maybe they see that he hasn't developed a young offensive player into a player that's above average at his position in 6 years. Maybe they see that he makes tactical mistakes every game and that his teams consistently commit penalties, turn the ball over, don't force turnovers and waste TOs and that he's on the short end of half-time adjustments every game. But at least he charismatic and can guarantee a SB. I think you misread my post. I was referring to Dunbar landing somewhere.

I think it would be a GREAT idea to have the dunbar(dine coach ) to be promoted to DC. He already has the respect from some of our players, which new coaches would have to earn, a Rex disciple so we can play a similar defense, and our best dline players are very loyal to him. It would be one of the smartest moves, but maybe he'll follow Rex... maybe I should get an interview for the GM spot LOL Marrone/Dunbar If Marone is hired, I hope he brings Schwatz with him. They worked well last year.

No. Just pointing out that we've gone from the Rex supporters saying that the moment this guy hits the market, teams will be lining up to hire him to maybe he won't be hired at all.
