Thanks for posting the write up by Serby. Good read. Did not realize Mariota has 4.43 speed. I knew he was fast but not that fast. I like his attitude.

Harbaugh is the dream scenario but there are other attractive candidates. But if we think Mariota is "The QB" we should be looking for an OC/HC who has experience running Chip Kelly's offense. It would make no sense to change Mariota into a classic pocket QB when the offense he's running in college has proven to be successful on the pro level

Was Kelly's QB coach last year in Philly and is the current OC for Miami, and he has Tannehill playing at a pretty high level right now.

I agree that the OL is a problem and Ferguson will need to be replace prior to 2016. But the opportunity to be this close to the top pick in the draft doesn't come along very often. Even less frequently when their is a budding superstar at QB.
Get the QB at all costs and rebuild the OL through Free agency and the rest of our draft.

Also, we need to fix your avatar and post count. Suggestions?

This should be the primary objective of the Jets offseason. Rex is a fucking dunce and whoever is in favor of bringing him back should lobotomize themselves with a dildo. It's time to totally clean house from top to bottom. Throw the bank at Jim Harbaugh and give him full control then do what it takes to draft Marcus Mariota in April. Designate Mike Iupati as your primary target in FA to shore up the OL, add a CB like Byron Maxwell or Chris Harris, and retain Harvin. A major, drastic shakeup is what is needed. Can't stand another year of this total ineptitude on offense. The 49ers had a trade with the Browns for Jim Harbaugh. That trade fell through because Harbaugh wife loves the Bay Area. So I don't see Harbaugh moving to the East coast under any circumstances..( if the 49ers don't want him some other west coast team will be glad to hire him(.

Can we trade Kyle Burnt Toast Wilson for Harbaugh???

Really didn't post too much on Jetsinsider. I thought they had the best draft section around especially with CBTNY ( Tony) .

If it wasn't for Tony back in the day I never would have stayed at JI. I never posted much back then, but was always reading the banter and CBTNY had some insightful information that only an insider would be able to produce.

I'm not seeing what makes the Harbaugh so great at all. And if he's developed Kapernick so greatly, why does he look like a Jets QB?!
No thanks on this overhyped mental patient.

Must get an offensive minded head coach, draft Mariotta, and pick up some free agent OL and draft some OL help, also must get some DB free agents to help us in that putrid area

Gruden just about creams his pants whenever he talks about chip Kelly's offense, and I believe the opportunity to work with a QB who already knows it would be difficult for him to resist.
