We have Seattle's 2nd round pick. Not conditional 2/3. SOunds like Kearse was a throw in because we needed a WR and Seattle needed to clear cap space. Sheldon for a 2 is a good deal, I did not think we would get that much. Can't argue with that, a 2nd is better than i thought when i first read the headlines. I agree -- when I first heard the report. Sheldon for Kearse, I assumed the pick would be a 4 or 5, which would have been a horrible deal. But for a 2 -- gotta give Macc credit for this one. He did a nice job. Now with a little luck, maybe Seattle will underachieve this season. We have a good reason to all be Cardinals fans this season.

By the way, shocked we got a second round pick for him even if it will be a late second rounder.

Glad to see the doosh gone. Is that now the final purging of the Idzdick era? I forget... wasn't Enunwa an Idzik pick too? I think Enunwa, Dozier and Winters are all Idzik picks. And Dozier could be gone by tomorrow.

I honestly wasn't expecting to get more than a conditional 5th for Sheldon considering his off the field BS and being in a contract year.
So I'm happier than a pig in shit.

I'm happy with that haul. Also, I'd be floored if Kearse made the second year of that deal. Weren't they looking to trade him for a second round last year. So this doesn't look too bad. Only problem is the Jets are horrible with second round picks ... Hackenberg is the latest, and he's proceeded by a history of terrible second rounders. And Macc is starting to remind me of the Idzick. No Marcus Maye was last year. He has shown pretty good so far.

WE are using our 2nd rounders to add to our trade up capital in case we blow the tank job.

And, the only writer I have seen so far that has been critical of the trade.

Can't argue with that, a 2nd is better than i thought when i first read the headlines. Awesome. Because the Jets have a great history with second round picks!!! 😂 We would've been better off getting a third round pick. 😂 Lol..true! Happy to see Richardson go, that sort of perp. attitude is absolute poison in the lockeroom.

With Pete Carroll as his coach he can finally speak his mind and tell the world how he really feels about Brandon Marshall.

good job by Macc getting a useful player and a 2nd round pick for an immature asshole who they weren't going to resign and is 1 trip to a Seattle dispensary away from a long suspension.

Part of the reason this trade works is because Seattle will likely get a third rounder in two years if they let him walk next year because they won't have the cap room to sign anyone big. We however would never see that third rounder because we have ALL the cap room
