Unfollowing him on twitter was such a good decision. Literally not one other insider or writer says shit like this. And it never catches on with the bigger networks because it's bullshit. What other team has guys like this?? It's unbelievable.

We should start a drive to boycott the Daily News. If you have a subscription cancel it letting them know that their anti-Jet bias is the reason. No need to kick us while we are down. I am thinking of redirecting their domain on my computer so it won't navigate to their site so even if I click an article by mistake it won't give them the click. I have had enough of the negative mud raking media.

Second rounder is also a nice chip if we need to move up in April. Exactly my thought. Things are stacking up well for the Jets to finally draft a franchise QB in 2018. When is Forte being traded?

This is a great trade. I thought we were going to have to have this idiot on our team for another year for no reason and then let him walk? That would only hamper the development of young guys on the d-line like Dion Simon? Grabbing a second-rounder is golden and Kearse is a good possession receiver who is tough and has great hands. Now if we really actually wanted to win anything we would be addressing the weakest spot on the team which is the offensive line. So whatever Patsy they throw in this year at QB is going to get fucking killed anyway. Makes me feel bad for Petty cuz he's actually the best QB on the team and they're fucking him blindfolded and hard.

And in my opinion Forte was never a good fit here and I honestly don't like his running style at all. Bilal Powell has always been my guy. And I think McGuire reminds me a little of Curtis Martin anyone else see that? If you have a little vision you can see Mike Macs plan.. he's just filling the roster right now with core players and utility and lunch pail guys. In the next two years we'll have so much fucking cap room that we can buy whatever we need to Polish up the offensive line and whatever sweet spots we can fill in the draft at quarterback and the skill positions. Done deal. I just hope they let Bowels have his day to show what he can do. And I hope they keep Petty around

And, if we can get our QB without having to trade up, we will be really well positioned with two 2s to move up into the first round to select a left tackle, to protect that new QB. Assuming we finally decide to put some valuable resources into the OL.

And, the only writer I have seen so far that has been critical of the trade. Someone sounds like they just lost their "anonymous sources" I accused Manish of the same thing in his tweet.

Let Simon start and we do have decent depth along the line.

Translation: Nobody was willing to give an asset for a 32 year old RB on the downside of his career who is due $4MM in guaranteed money this year. I think his most value to us this year will come as a receiver out of the backfield -- with our inexperienced stable of WRs, Powell and Forte are going to have to be weapons in the passing game to take some pressure off the WR corps.

Someone sounds like they just lost their "anonymous sources" I accused Manish of the same thing in his tweet. I wonder if Manish even believes half the shit he spews. I think he likes being contrarian just for the sake of the clicks. If 99% of the writers say they like the deal, the one who will get the most clicks is the guy who says the trade sucks.

Another surprising move. I thought Pennel flashed more in the pre-season Simon showed some promise during his first two years but I saw him get wiped out on a surprising number of plays over the past few weeks.

I have had enough of the negative mud raking media. Ive deleted their app from my phone long ago due in large part to Manish, and dont visit their website, or buy their paper. I give credit to Macc, this was a pretty good trade if you figure Sheldon wasnt getting resigned here long term - a second (potential ammo to move up in the draft) and a usable WR without long-term cap consequences is better than Id have thought they would get back.
