The greatest aspect of this is that we will never see what we have (or have not) in Petty and Hack, we're not going to be in a position to draft one of the best QB prospects and we're going to give a 38 year old journeyman another contract. It's the best of times to be a Jet fan. _ My MIL was a yuge J E T S fan last night. "The Niners SUCK!! I like the Jets!! They can play!! DId you know I really hate the Niners now? Jets Jets Jets!" Your post gives me scurvy.

As fans, we may feel like we have not seen enough of them, but it sure looks like the coaching staff has seen enough and made their decision. Bowles pretty much said this during his presser after the Atlanta game when asked if he wanted to see either of the young guys, he said he had seen them this summer and Josh is the QB. Frustrating for us because we want to see what Hack & Petty can do, but seems like the CS has already made up their minds. My guess is we see one of the in December after we are mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. Until then, as long as we are playing well and hanging around the periphery of the playoff picture, this is McCown's job if he stays healthy.

The 49ers traded for Garoppolo and the 0-8 Browns tried to trade a 2nd & 3rd pick for fucking AJ McCarron.
That should tell you everything you need to know about the QBs in the '18 draft.

I actually don't care what they've seen, I'D like to see it. See if one of these slapdicks can at least be an effective backup. I don't understand the continued playing of a 38 year old QB, especially if we're under .500 with 6 games to play. Or 5. Or 4. Or 3. If McCown is still playing when we're 5-7 or 6-8 I'll be pissed. _

Why would you trust anything the Browns are doing and Garappolo for a second rounder is a no brainer. Making any judgment on the QBs now is silly. If Jared Goff can play like he's playing and Watson played like he was playing and Wentz? Cant tell me that Rosen or Darnold or possibly Allen or even Jackson can't be just as good. Maybe Mayfield. Too early in the process and what the Browns do should not be an indication of what to do, but to do the opposite. _

I think it's simply that we have a stubborn HC that is trying to win every possible game he that he can, and that Mac and the front office aren't gonna stick their nose in and force him to play Petty and Hack. They're probably just as frustrated as we are. They probably should, but they won't. Bowles loves his vet QBs. He could give a fuck about the future. I don't agree with what he's doing... But I do understand why. Watson would be healthy and holding a clipboard if he were a Jet.

So if the draft were to be held today, we'd be picking 11th. Well done you stupid fucks. Cincy, Indy and Chargers easily could have won their games. www.tankathon.com/nfl_

It's the jets way. Never bad enough to draft a real prospect QB and never good enough to get to the super bowl.
All we had to do this year was play the hack or petty and we'd be drafting a franchise QB. But no, we go with mccown and win 6 or so games.
Same old jets

1. Cleveland 2. SF 3. Giants 4. Indy 5. Cincy 6. Denver 7. Chargers 8. TB 9. Cleveland 10. Chicago
So of the 9 teams in front of us (Browns x 2) there are legit only 3 (maybe 4) teams that WON'T draft a QB:
SF, TB and Chicago. Possibly Indy but you never know, they've done it before. MAYBE Cincy but they'd be crazy not to.
Cleveland Giants Denver Chargers and maybe Indy and Cincy all in a competition for a franchise QB. All with a better position to trade up to the SF pick or the Indy pick.
But DAMN did it feel good beating Cleveland and the Bills and Miami!!!!!!!
Yeah BABY, can't WAIT for another decade of suckitude.

You can pretty much circle SF as the target spot... it would have been nice if those fairy fucks could have layed down for the Giants.. but whatever. Moving on.

I've also read that Cleveland will take Rosen at 1. Motherfuckers. We need SF to have the 1. But would Cleveland trade 2 number 1's to move up if SF has the 1? _
