No Gun Zones: Unsafe. Are you surprised that these mass public shootings typically happen at Churches and schools and don't happen at BBQs or rodeos? _ It makes sense. You want to create the most carnage / hysteria / killing, you go where the targets cant fight back.

its looks like this was a domestic situation between his wifes family and him... Which statistically why most mass shootings happen. Family/domestic issues. _

An atheist dishonorably discharged domestically abusive illegal gun owner shoots innocent people in a safe zone church.
A law abiding legal gun owning citizen stops the attack then chases down the killer.
And you want to take MY guns?
Fuck off.

How are more stringent background checks going to work if the gov't can't get the right info into the correct database? Had the Air Force done their job right, this guy wouldn't have been able to buy a gun legally.
Tho he'd probably have found a way to get one illegally.
And not for nothing, what is a military-style rifle anyway? Media makes up these scary sounding terms for semi-automatic weapons.

And the media considers any rifle that isnt used for hunting... military style. As far as these gun-free zones (like the Church this guy attacked)...this is the perfect example how stupid the concept is. It merely sets up a safe environment for a deranged fuck to exploit. Last week, a friend of mine, a cop, rushed home from work to take his 3 year old to Chuck E Cheese for his birthday. Under his shirt he had a holstered off-duty weapon which some passerby spotted when he bent over to use the ticket machine. The passerby reports this to management and they proceed to kick the cop and his kid out of their "gun-free" establishment. He ID'd himself and that made no difference. I also know many that were denied entry to public schools in uniform and working...because they were armed. Diseased, arrogant thinking.

My brothne told me at MetLife and I think Citifield they actually want armed ex-cops carrying in the stadiums. Said he's walked in separate doors, registers where he's sitting and he's good to go. Carries his Ruger LCP with the laser sights. _

Olbermann went off the deep end a long time ago just like his brother Rachel Maddow.
