I liked him back in the day, the drugs have completely fucked him up Thought he made the Stern show when they went to Sirius. Yes, for a couple of Years. Then, the blow caught up with him sirius management fired him. He then, tried reviving with different projects. And I think a year or 2 ago he started doing Anthony Cumia's podcast. Again in May they split because of his health and his lack of perf.

Dumbest move ever. During a commercial break, Sirius management told Lange to go home and was granted some time off from the show. An executive for SiriusXM stated that Lange would be welcomed back onto The Howard Stern Show following his recovery,[93] but Stern later decided against it, thinking it would not aid in his recovery.[94] Well I knew it was management didn't know it was Stern en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artie_Lange

As far as Cumia and Lange, I remember Cumia having some nasty problems of his own, so that combo was combustible from the start. Loved Anthony's impressions during the Opie and Anthony era but not much else. He was the only real talent between the two, imho, but you could see the demons tearing at him.

Then you would have bitched saying it was TL DR You're the laziest fuck around here, and that's saying A LOT. Like saying "you're the worst Jets draft pick ever". Ooof, why donβt you and 32G get together and shake your canes vigorously? You twoβd be perfect together, sitting on a porch in the South bitching about the heat. Like Bartles and James, only 254% grumpier.

I was a big O&A fan in the day, but Ant definitely was the talent - the impressions, the song parodies. It used to drive Opie crazy when people would call in and call him a board op, but in fairness, thats what he was. Ant, and to a lesser extent, Jimmy Norton, Rich Vos, Patrice (RIP) and the rotating comics they had on carried the show.

Two self-destructive guys, in different ways. Artie with the substance abuse, Cumia pushing the envelope and getting fired multiple times, I think for some racist shit the last time. Probably part of what made them so entertaining in the first place.

He currently owns his own Media Company and sponors other podcasts. www.compoundmedia.com/

Patrice was great.
I miss Eddie Murphy doing stand up. Comedy is almost dead.
