Why does everyone hate cousins around here. Imo if he came here he would easily be the best qb we have had in decades. I'm not sure if he will ever be a top 5 qb in this league, but I think we can win with him. if we sign him, and draft saquon Barkley in the 1st and either a ol or a stud wr ( a true #1) in the 2nd, I think we would be a playoff team next year. easily.

Let me ask y'all this, would you guys rather sign Cousins or Alex Smith (if assumed cut)? Cousins is so much better than smith imo. and I don't think it's close.

As soon as the asking price for Cousins hits 25 million a year Jets run scared and resign Mccown this team under woody doesnt spend that kind of money unless its Mevis. I go all out for Cousins until this franchise fixes the QB postion they are not competing. I would give up both 2nd rounders if it allowed this team to get Rosen or Darnold.

Since Darnold or Rosen won't be there (you never know just saying) I think the only way they land either is by trading with the Giants and the Giants will no doubt look for a kings ransom. Is it worth it? I don't think so. They need to go all out on Cousins period, they have more than enough money to do so. If that falls apart I would trade down with say Cincy, who are desperately looking for an OL and I would draft either Jackson or Allen and grab McCown for another year.

I don’t think the Giants will ever trade with us. Our only shot at Sam or Rosen is a trade up to the 1 (if the Browns sign Cousins or believe they can get Mayfield at the 4) or one of them falls and we trade up to the 3. _

I don’t think the Giants will ever trade with us. _ Why is that? It is not like they are in our division. I just can’t see them gifting us a franchise QB. I don’t think the owners hate each other, I just don’t think they are partners and want to help each other out. Just my gut. _

If they trade the pick to the jets and the QB the jets get in that spot ends up being the next Marino, the giants will never ever hear the end of it from the media, their fans, and from the entire Tri-State area for the rest of their lives. Just cannot see the giants letting that possibly happen with a team they share a city, a stadium with and compete for Local fans with.

Just saying if the giants are targeting a guy that they can get at 6 and they get a sizable package back that they might consider it. I guess we will see what happens with all the Evals and the combine too. Lots can change.

They will not take the risk of jets possible QB working out at their spot in this town with this media which obviously has noods of everyone for blackmail. fuck it
