Cousins was interviewed earlier, and hinted he wanted to go with a winner that had the right pieces in place, and that money was not his primary reason for choosing a team. The Jets have a boatload of money to throw his way, and maybe a few other pieces to the puzzle. Should be interesting.

I’d rather draft someone maybe bring back McCown on the cheap as a player/coach. But I have to believe that Mac is going to make a big pitch to try and solve his QB problem. The pressure is too big for him to do something, and the fans are rightly killing him for the shitty Hack pick.

Denver is going to sign him to a 5 year deal and will absolutely not take a QB on the 5. _

Cousins to Denver, the Giants sticking with Eli and Webb and going Oline, Cleveland taking Barkley or Allen on the 1, a bunch of things could shake this draft up. _

That's our only hope. Darnold is going 1, i don't care what mel kiper thinks. Even cleveland isn't stupid enough to pass on him at 1.

I don't know why anyone wants cousins for the money he's going to get. What does it say when your own team doesn't want to give you a long term contract and they trade for alex smith to replace you? And they see the guy every day. The guy should be in the prime of his career and the redskins pass on giving him long term deals every single season.
This is someone we want to be stuck with eating up cap for the next 4 or 5 years as we go 8-8 season after season? Pray he goes to denver.

Dan Snyder is the same fuckhead who gave a notoriously lazy interior DL like Haynesworth a $100 million contract when that was unheard of for any position besides QB but won’t commit to the guy behind center who has thrown for over 4,000 yards, 25+ TD’s and completed 67% of his passes over the last 3 years. Who can explain how his goofy brain works? BTW, the Redskins just gave 34 year old, supreme gamemanager Alex Smith a 4 year extension averaging $24 million a year with $70 million guaranteed. They’re a bunch of dildos. Plain and simple. Captain Kirk, you’re free to beam aboard.
