Report: McCown informed he will be starter
Newsday reports recently re-signed Jets QB Josh McCown has been informed he will be the team's 2018 starter.
The Jets reportedly remain interested in free agent Teddy Bridgewater, however. They also remain candidates to select a quarterback on Day 1. Going on 39, McCown has never started more than 13 games in his career. He hit that number in 2017 but is a long shot to do it in back-to-back seasons. Despite McCown's $10 million contract, the Jets shouldn't be close to done at quarterback.

RB Isaiah Crowell to Jets, 3 year deal, per Twatter. Do we like this??? I haven't seen a Browns game in years....

I'd really like to see some upgrades on the O line. The Jets activity, or lack thereof, early in the FA market is puzzling.

Not very excited about the crowell signing. And mcclown again? Eh. He did decent last year but cmon. I don't want to watch this 40 year old journeyman qb another season.

Crowell, McCown and Johnson.,.not a bad haul so far. Glad we didn’t get Deion Lewis he wasn’t a fit we have 2 players just like him. Crowell is a beast, they need to now improve that o line. Teddy might sign too.

Edwards is 28 thought he was 30. Good signing by the former GM of the year.

Well, Mac has to know this off-season is make or break for him. He isn’t doing bad with the free agent pickups so far. He still has more work to do in free agency and then he has to move up and get us that QB.
