I always loved the logic of someone who is about to blow the top of their heads off, opening their mouth wide for the shotgun as if the lips and teeth would slow the pellets or slug down. Also, many people who drown themselves take their clothes off and carefully fold them first. A funny thing people do. And yes, prolly Jet fans. LOL. I get the same ideas when I see a dude put on a helmet before skydiving. Lol..I think the logic in skydiving is tilted more towards a rough touchdown where the diver can tumble rather than a failure of the parachute, though I've thought the same thing. That's something I never had the slightest inclination to do.

Like is there like a set of lips with teeth there on a puddle of goo? Also.... I have no idea what you are talking about re the drowning. Ppl drown themselves?? How?! And they are typically naked?? How is it even possible. srs questions

I dont see the Giants trading down. For them, its once in a decade or more that they pick that high, and I think Eli has another year or two left. I think they stay put and go Barkley.

the giants could and should squeeze something out of the jets if the giants want barkley.
swap places with the jets and the jets give them something in return to move up one spot and cockblock some other team (bills, broncos) that's offering the moon and stars to the giants for that pick. it's a no-lose for the giants; if they want barkley why the hell wouldn't they basically force the jets to swap places with them and squeeze a pick or player out of maccagnan? they get barkley either way, but get the added bonus of fucking the jets and getting something out of it
gettleman it done tanny

Taking Barkley and passing on a franchise type QB when you land at #2 and have no cost to trade up is pure and utter idiocy if you ask me. The jets have sucked for years and we have not manged to fall into top 1 or 2 spots.
Also Barkley is the most overrated player in this draft by a lot. I will laugh my ass off if cleve or the giants take him 1 or 3.

Y'all might have that stance personally but the Barkley is looked at as a generational talent league wide and if OBJ is their face of the team and doing all this dumb stuff, they might be inclined to take a RB who can possibly be your best franchise RB ever. OBJ opens the offense up and all their moves this season looks like they're playing for right now. Nate Soilder, Jonathan Stewart, all win now pieces. Eli is 38 by season's start and may feel like he has 2 or 3 years left. Who knows. The owner loves the Mannings and nobody in the media would blame them for taking Barkley over a QB. Especially when they have examples of what Zeke and Leonard Forunette did to their new teams and offenses.

The Giants are taking a QB and would be foolish not to, especially over taking a RB at number two in a RB loaded draft. I think the earliest Barkley goes is number 4 to the Browns and I could even see him sliding further. He's not going number two overall to the Gmen......you heard it here first.

Certainly wouldn’t be the first place I heard it. I’ve seen many mocks saying the same. I would not be surprised at all. Like I said earlier, I think the giants will keep their pick and draft Barkley or a QB. I can’t see them trading the pick. I think everybody here is saying Barkley because they either believe it or it fits their wish list.

It's a 50% at this moment. We can go back and forth about it all day why they should or shouldn't. Don't give teams benefit of the doubt either. Giants can simply go the other way and draft Quentin Nelson to put next to Nate Soilder. It's a month to go. Let's see where things go but don't be surprised if the first 2 picks are Darnold (or Allen) then Barkley as it's been for weeks now.

There is some moron article on yahoo sports saying he jets grossly overpaid to move up to select their QB. But most of the articles from reputable sources have been giving the Jets props. 1) we will get a top QB; 2) our 2nd rd picks have been dog shit for a long while; and 3) we did not even have to give up a first rd pick next year. Hey, yahoo, suck it!
