It's funny we give Macc shit about Hack in the second, but people forget that bucky horseteeth selected Paxton lynch in the 1st. He gets lucky getting Manning, then its Siemien, Oswieleier, now Keenum. Just shows how bad it is to hit on a QB prospect. Please baby jesus, help the Jets make the right pick!!!!! Elway’s teams have won the SB so he gets more of a pass. Don’t forget that there were guys on the board saying we should trade up from 20 into the top 10 to get Lynch. I was never for that but admittedly would have been happy to get him at 20. Ultimately, people like to think they know a lot about the draft when in fact, they don’t know their ass from their elbow. And for the record, I immerse myself in the draft for quite a while leading up to it but I know I still don’t know jack shit. Pretty sure it was just Paradis.

I know he definitely has some risk but I would not be disappointed. They could all be good and they could all suck. Everybody around here bitched about what an idiot Idzik was for picking a CB (Milliner) with an injury history... and he was. Yet most guys seem very excited to get a guy that had 2 concussions last year. That scares the hell out of me. It's not just the concussions on Rosen - it's the shoulder injury that caused him to miss time as well. He may be 6'4" but he's a slender guy. I like his skills above all the other guys but he just doesn't look like someone who is going to have a long career - or need one ($) frankly. Totally agree. Every bit of me screams don’t take him. I have him 4th in the big 4. Talent? Yes. There are red flags about him being a poor leader and being uncoachable. Also read that he does not have any love for the game and a rich kid with no love for the game worries me. But even if none of that is true, the shoulder injury and the concussions have turned me off. He certainly may go go out and prove me dead wrong but if I was a GM in need of a QB, I would not touch him with any of the first three picks.

Paradis was one of them but there were others who agreed. And guys whose knowledge I did and still do respect. Just shows what a crapshoot the draft is.

Rosen would be great in a dome - I would bet that's AZ's fave. BUF is linked to Allen interest. I doubt either have enough to move to #2. I seeiously doubt the Giants even want to move down anyway unless some team offers something completely filthy stupid as compensation. They’re in prime position to land either a potential franchise QB to succeed Eli for 10+ years or take a true bluechip RB like Barkley who could put their offense over the top. Agreed. Picking second overall is basically a once in a lifetime opportunity for an organization like the Giants to either restock or rebuild.

Funnier yet is that I’d wager 80+% of the people who are so firmly anti-Allen have never even watched him play. Hell, I’ve only seen 3 of the kids games start to finish. 1 in 2016 when the hype train started and then 2 last year including the Potato Bowl. So I’m sure as shit not going to pretend like I know more than the scouts and analysts who study these kids for a living. Clearly they see the batshit crazy upside if he’s being talked about potentially going ahead of Darnold/Rosen. In the end, I’ll be happy with any of the Top 4 guys. But none of them are perfect. Far from it. Even if you want nothing to do with Allen, there’s absolutely no denying that he has the highest upside of any of them. I've actually seen Allen play in person. We need to stay far, far away.

So have a lot of the draft gurus and many of them have Allen ranked above Rosen. Anti-semite Rosen is atheist. So I think that would make them anti-anti.
