Fuck..guess we are drafting Allen. Does Mac have a boner? Lol. This guy looks like a real creep; a real strange dude. At least he didn’t wear that fucking vest today.

If Darnold goes off the board, I’d take Rosen. If he’s gone, I’d take Mayfield. If the Browns are (stupidly) seduced by Allen’s big arm and feel he can sit behind Taylor for a year or two before he’s ready, and the G-men go DL or RB, I’d take Darnold over Rosen. I'm increasingly concerned about Rosen's durability and past health issues i.e., multiple concussions and other injuries. He's a precise passer and can make the throws, but the jets don't need a china doll lining up behind center. I also don't think Allen is the answer. In a changing environment, I'm now on the Darnold bandwagon and also like Mayfield despite his height because I believe he is talented enough to work around that.

Assuming Darnold is gone, if Allen is on the board at #3, Mac is taking him.

This vid was done before the trade. Go to 4:00 mark if you want to feel instantly terrible but I suggest you just listen to the full vid.

Assuming Darnold is gone, if Allen is on the board at #3, Mac is taking him. If this was held at Radio City, I think Allen would be the only QB that would get boo'd by Jet fans if selected. I think Barkley would get cheered at #3 before Allen. Mac would be real bold not drafting a unanimous QB from the fanbase.

I just read an article where the Jets had representatives watch Johnny Manziel throw at University of San Diego Pro Day. The Jets were one of many teams in attendance. Manziel threw in light rain and hit 38 of 40 throws and his performance was described as "strong." Evidently he has an offer from the CFL and some developmental teams. Manziel admitted he still has to prove he has reformed his past ways. I am in no way advocating the Jets kick the tires on him but the guy wants back in the NFL after screwing it all up.

I cannot fathom that any NFL team will sign him. His is a cautionary tale all young players should heed. A chance to play at the pro level in any league is a gift you should make the most of.

He should play like 2 years in the CFL first. He lights it up in Canada and then some NFL team will take a shot at him.
