Figures. All those referals to deals he had going on were total bullshyte and now he's crawling back to a place where all the other staff hate him. Carlin Gray and Scott are an awkward sh*tshow and virually unlistenable so I guess the ad revenue plunged to a point the FAN had to play ball with Fatty for his return. I feel bad for Benigno and Roberts as they will probably have to split the their time with the other morons who it seems will be kept.
If the FAN has half a brain they will force Fatty to work with a partner because otherwise he an unlistenable blowhard.

Unless there is a last-minute snag in the negotiations, Mike (Sports Pope) Francesa will soon return to WFAN, the Daily News has learned.
Francesa will be back in the 3 p.m.-7 p.m. slot, according to well-embedded Hudson Street (FAN Headquarters) rats. The sources said the 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. slot will be divided between Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts, currently FAN’s 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. team, and CMB, aka Chris Carlin, Maggie Gray and Bart Scott, who replaced Francesa earlier this year.
Sources did not know Francesa’s exact starting date, but said it would be soon.
Francesa “retired” from WFAN four months ago. During his “farewell” tour, he repeatedly said “no more FAN.”
Mike Francesa’s ego has led him toward possible WFAN return
Yet, Monday, speculation swirled that he wanted to return.

On Tuesday, Francesa told Newsday that he wanted to return to FAN, but did not indicate a deal was in place. He did say he was working on a plan with CAA, the agency that represents him.
So he’s back, and as one WFAN source, told the Daily News: “If he came back here it would be a real s--t show. It’s no secret that he’s not well-liked.”
Sources did not indicate when tickets will go on sale for Francesa’s next farewell tour.
