Alright so maybe this article wreaks of favoritism by a washed up, shit GM in his own right. I was just testing the board to see if you guys would go on stroking the Jets and start making predictions of 13-3 or better? Everyone should know the truth about this team. You should be flabbergasted if the Jets any more 6 games. This team is still shit for the foreseeable future.

Accurate I think we go 7-9 at BEST we go 9-7 but if we do I need everyone to get checked for roids .

Everyone seems to forget we were "in" almost every game last year right to the end. I know it's not horseshoes or hand grenades, nor have I had time to really do an in-depth analysis like killer there. But I'll say it, I don't think 10 wins this year is out of the question. Let's talk again in December.

The only way I see the team being improved is at CB, so I guess they could be improved? Maybe a game better or so? But even at 7-9 that's a 2 game improvement and that's a big deal when you play 16. What makes you come to that conclusion?

You don't think adding Enunwa (back from injury) and Pryor, plus an improved Hansen, to last year's WR corps is an improvement? How about Long instead of Wesley Johnson and a healthy Winters vs. an injured Winters? Or Bridgewater and Darnold instead of Petty and Hackenberg? Crowell vs. an old and injured Forte? Anderson and Shepherd vs. a lazy Wilkerson? 2nd year Adams and Maye vs. Rookie Adams and Maye? Plus, the addition of Johnson at CB is not small. Since Claiborne and Skrine are returning, the signing really impacts 3 roles. The improvements are: Johnson over Claiborne as the #1 CB, Claiborne over Skrine as the #2 CB, and Skrine over the motley crew of Roberts/Burris/Robinson as the #3 CB. Some of these may turn out to be marginal gains, but to think that they can't add up to a 2-4 game improvement seems pretty pessimistic.

Most all of those comparisons are based on players coming back healthy, but you forget injuries are a constant that almost never go away. We were hit with the injury bug last year and you can count on that happening again. Long has a history of injury. So does McCown and Claiborne. My point is we'll always be dealing with deficiencies and with how thin this roster is to begin with those are losses a team like this cannot afford. No, I do not think improvements at WR makes the offense better. The problem is at QB. The Jets won't have enough consistency. McCown will likely start but he can't stay healthy and it's easy to see his play slipping. He's 39 years old and he played out of his fucking mind last season. Long is an improvement over Johnson but the OL overall is still garbage. Lets not forget the DL took a serious hit losing Wilkerson and Kony Ealy. The front 7 will not be able to defend the run like they did and don't forget the Jets defense was 25th in the league last season with a supposedly defensive HC. As a summary, I think the drafting from this administration has been marginal at best. This roster has less talent than in 2014. The coaching is poor and we play in the same division as NE.

So you don’t think Teddy or Darnold will start if they’re needed? For real ?
