Lookin good 32. Go for the knee on that guy. Will be greeting shoppers in Walmart from a wheelchair. Go for the knee on someone that short means you have to get low, and likely close, which means he can hug you in his own inimitable way. Bridge looked really good, Darnold did as well. There were a couple of plays where I couldn't believe just how poised he appeared, including the TD. Contrast that with Josh Allen staring down receivers until they "came open", it's hard not to be optimistic.

Was at the game and amazing how full the stadium was, Incredible optimism from the fans was a first. I say again, keep Teddy and Sam this year. They are already paid, we've had 3 QBs for a number of years. Worst case make McCowan a coach so we can reactivate him if necessary. Why crap shoot on a first next year when you have the real thing now? That's just fucking stupid. Start Teddy, make Sam a 4Q QB and see how things progress. It's a low risk no brainer.
Don't know how bad Atlanta sucks this year but both our D's looked solid as well. 10 games this year, still bettin' on it.

If they trade him they save 6 million for next year and hopefully get a decent pic for a guy that will not be here next year

However, he MAY be as good or better than Sam, and $6mil doesn't mean shit in the scheme of things, when we handed Sam $20mil before his first snap.
More important, when is Teddy's value going to be higher... in pre-season first glimpse, or when he's kicking ass 5 games in? Or at draft time next year when he's kicked ass and the Jets have the dilemma of Favre and Rodgers?
Yeah we invested a shit load in Sam but that's a sunk cost and irrelevant now. It's about who takes over the AFL dynasty as sparklepony tries to roll his wheelchair out onto the field with under inflated tires.

Honestly I think his value peaks in the next two weeks. Teams generally do t like to trade for a QB and throw him into their offense mid season. At least not contending teams. Non contending teams have no reason to trade for him, unless they intend to franchise him(if his contract doesn’t specifically disallow that)
