"Woody, my whole two years there, didn’t know my name. He did not know my name. When he shook my hand, he said, ‘Hey.’ One time, we were on the field, and he said, ‘Hey, coach.’ I’m quite sure he didn’t know me from one of the players. “He comes around like he’s just the face, and that’s what he does. He doesn’t know anybody, and he can’t tell anybody’s name or anything like that. And that trickles down.” Ouch. Cant disagree with alot he said, insecure, inexperienced head coach, disinterested owner...sounds like Pepper cared way more than they did and his passion was a threat to Bowles. Learning to trust the people that work for you and allowing them to make you look good is key. I like Pepper ... the stuff he said about the pass rush and defensive back alignment being in sync sounds reasonable. but I also like Bowles. The guy I really question is Maccagnan. Based on his draft record he is not worthwhile.
