Stuff like this just pisses me off. Same with the mets always celebrating some anniversary of their 1986 world series. All this does is remind me of all the shit football we've had to watch since then and that we have nothing else to ever celebrate. How about winning something new?

Being alive for 50 years is something to celebrate. Being married for 50 years is something to celebrate. Not having done a fucking thing in 50 years is not something to celebrate.

Wow you guys are really a bunch of whiners. They obviously aren't celebrating the 50 years in between, they are celebrating that it happened.

My first conscious sports memory..my parents inviting relatives to watch the game on our black and white TV. Had no idea what it was about...but I remember the excitement of the adults. My Uncle, a season ticket holder would start taking me to games at Shea a year later, Emerson Boozer was my favorite, hence 3-2 Green.

Tired of the Jets ALWAYS living in the Past. They have no past. Or present. Maybe a future. In nome.
