My god.....I think it's AWFUL that we witnessed Sam Darnold's first ever career TD pass with that "lady" who sounds like a man, making the call.
Thank god, the Jets won't be subjected to that THING the rest of the way according to the schedule.

I don’t begrudge anyone doing what they enjoy doing to make a living. However, she’s not very good at NFL play by play, and to be fair, Brian Griese isn’t very good either. At the beginning of the game I thought this announcing team is terrible. Later, I was too wrapped up in the game to care, other than I had a hard time hearing her calls because of the tone of her voice. After it was obvious the Jets had it in the bag, I went back to being pissed about the announcers. I’m sure there’s a place for her somewhere in announcing, it’s just not NFL football.

my wife, who barely pays attention on the rare occasions she watches a game with me, commented "who the hell is this lesbian trying to sound like troy mcclure? it's so forced and fake, it sounds ridiculous"
i'm like "yeah hey go get me another beer would ya?"

If ESPN is going to put a woman on doing play by play, then why’d they make it a woman with a mans voice? Go with a woman who sounds like a woman, or just use a man. Fucking ESPN idiots.
