How many wins guarantees that Bowles returns and the suck continues? I think if they finish off badly with losses in their last 4 or 5 games, he could be gone.
The Jets are 3-4 & these are the games they have left.
@ Bears @ dolphins bills patriots @ Titans @ bills Texans Packers @ pats

I see 3 more wins for 6 total. It will save his job.

Crap, i see 4 more wins. Bills twice, Titans and Texans.
And that’s a 3 game win streak towards the end of the season, disregarding my previous assertion.
Then packers and patriots for losses, but they’re expecting to lose those.
Oh good God, Bowles is coming back next year.
Just shoot me.

Maybe Chris Johnson shows some balls and shows he's the man by firing Macc AND Bowles at the end of the season. Probably not, but one can wish. Half empty stadium down the stretch filled with the other teams fans may change his mind. Hope so.

Losing the last 4 or the last 4 out of 5.
I see us losing the last three to the Texans, packers & pats.
If we can somehow lose one or both of the games to the bills and titans, it might well seal the deal.
I can’t figure this team out this year. I can see them getting 7 wins and I can also see them only winning one more game.
But past history tells me that they will do just enough to screw up the draft pick and keep the coaching staff.

The Jets do just enough to be slightly below average, year in year out

I can still see 6-10 or 7-9 as a possible outcome, which I think keeps him around.

fuck the number of wins, the stat that matters is 'how many years did you make the playoffs?'
if after 4 full seasons the answer is "0" it's time to gtfo

I can still see 6-10 or 7-9 as a possible outcome, which I think keeps him around. We play the bears, dolphins, titans and bills twice. All games we can win. I don’t see us winning any of the other games but anything is possible. If the Jets beat the bills twice and one of the other crappy teams, I’m not sure if the coaching staff stays.

Bowles will not be fired regardless of wins losses. He has next year guaranteed. He's been tugging on Darnolds balls since day 1. That's his protection
