Full tank mode.
Acquiring picks to move up in the draft, if needed, to grab top QB.

Yeah they fucked up big time. Not really. What other bad team is looking for a qb? Arizona - no Raiders - maybe Bucs - maybe Bills - no Browns - no Colts - no 49ers - no So they should have the pick of the best qb in next year’s draft with Barkley this year.

Uh...you left out one specifically bad team that doesn't need a QB.

I guess my question is, in the long run, is the best QB next year + Barkley > Darnold/Allen/Rosen + a 1st/2nd rd RB next year? They can say it was a plan, or justify it, but who takes a RB 2nd overall, the position with the shortest shelf life, and then does a total rebuild? There was no plan. Or rather, there was a plan, but it was to squeeze whatevers left out of Eli, which isnt much.

that was the plan, as they stated
macc is bad but he may not be the worst judge of talent in ny/nj at the moment

I haven’t even looked to see what QBs are going to be in the 2019 draft but the giants are in full sell off and tank mode and will be set up to get a QB.

I didn’t say they planned for this to happen, but it’s not a fuck up if they get a number qb next year and Barkley. Assface. Though I’m not an expert about upcoming qb prospects. I’d check the draft forum but that’s more deserted than Chernobyl.

Justin Herbert, Oregon. Ryan Finley, NC State. Drew Lock, Missouri. Will Grier, WV. Daniel Jones, Duke. Those are some of the top QBs for 2019.
Granted its still early, but none of those guys seem to blow you away when you watch them. Certainly isn't the hype around them like this past draft class, FWIW.
Which is why I ask, down the road, would you prefer Justin Herbert, for example, and Saquan Barkley, or Sam Darnold and (fill in the blank RB)? Its going to be fun to watch it play out.

In the end though, may still work out for the giants. Which pisses me off.
