Exactly what I was thinking while watching their 3rd stringer. Yet all their running backs from the 90's have CTE problems, because they didn't have Big Ben. Sam makes all athletes better; because the defenses can't key on his weaknesses. Bell can break tackles in that kind of situation. It's bizarre understanding every word in that post but not having a clue to what you said.

Exactly what I was thinking while watching their 3rd stringer. 19 carries for 142 yards for Jaylen Samuels. Jaylen Samuels was a 5th round pick this year. There is no reason to dump money into RB. BUILD THE LINE! Meat and Potatos !

Sam makes all athletes better; because the defenses can't key on his weaknesses. Bell can break tackles in this situation. He can catch passes with his hands; gives him the space to make a strong first move ATC. We have the QB (in theory), I think if we had a decent OLine and WRs that would help Sam, Crowell, McGuire, etc much better than dumping a huge contract on Bell. Now that being said with our cap room getting Bell probably doesn't stop them from getting all of the other pieces. Player availability will be the biggest problem because the cap is going up so much no one will be letting a good player go.

That will do wonders for the rest of the offense. Rb's and WR's will look so much better if Sam is not running for his life and they can actually create holes to run through. Able to sustain drives and keep the opposing offense on the bench along with our D. Make it happen McIrish.

Bell would solve a lot of problems for us, but we still do need a much better OLine

Are DLineman and LBs just that good now or is this the dark age of the OLine? Who are the best OLines in the league? Steelers, Rams are up there. Are the Titans in the conversation with the recent success of Henry? Chiefs? Ravens? Eagles? Maybe the best GM would be someone who learned on a team like the Steelers who seem to replace talent year after year. Look at their success on the line, WR, RB. Might be a tree worth shaking.

Premium OL, esp. left tackles, I think are rare these days, and they almost never get to free agency. They should be using high picks on OL every year. Thats why I want to see them go OT with their first this year.

Too much money... No O-line.

Too much money... No O-line. We've got the cap room. Throw money at Bell and draft some young offensive lineman. We need to put as many pieces around darnold as possible. Just throw a ton of cash at the offense while we still have darnold for cheap. That's the recipe for success in today's nfl.

He'll go to whichever team gives him the most cash and we've got the most to spend. He wants to get paid.

Im usually against paying RBs bc there are so many really good ones taken late in the draft.
But I am all in on putting the best offense around Darnold that we can. Everything move we make needs to be made with Darnold in mind. Time to go all-in.
