Possible Vets - Arians, Harbaugh, Garrett, Philips, Wisenhunt, NFL Unknowns/Coordinators - LeFleur, DeFillipo, Bieniemy, Carmichael, Bob Sutton (lol?) Wildcards (a la Vrabel last year) - Kafka, Britt Reid (Andy's ginger son), Aaron Glenn, Dan Campbell, anyone from college ranks?
I listen to Mike Fatcessa every day on the way home and he won't shut up about Arians taking over. While I think that is indeed the best option, I don't think he would do that to his beloved Bowles. They are good friends and it would almost be like a slap in the face, especially with the notion of a demotion for Bowles as opposed to a straight up removal.
Who do you prefer and who do you think is most likely?

Mike Shanahan
- Offensive guru - Super Bowl pedigree - Plenty of front office experience - Knows how to assemble a FANTASTIC offensive staff - Changed his entire offense to suit gimmicky RGIII, who had the most efficient season by a rookie QB in history - Drafted a legit franchise QB in the 4th round (Cousins) - Runs an incredibly balanced offensive system - Doesn’t take shit from anyone - Is one of the most connected guys in league history - Produces 1,000 yard rushers like it’s no sweat off his balls - Darnold would be virtually guaranteed to develop into a Top 10 QB

Shanny has been out too long.
If we are going retread then Arians would be the best choice.

Shanny has been out too long. If we are going retread then Arians would be the best choice. Meh Guy has only been gone for less than 5 years. And he’s already shown that he can adapt. Like I said, he changed his entire system to suit RGIII. He was doing all of that RPO shit 3 years before it became the big thing in the pros. I’ve seen some complain about his age, but he’s the same age as Belidick. Guys like Pete Carroll and Nick Saban are a year older than him. I’d love to bring him in. He’s one of those guys who is a true football lifer and legitimately one of the greatest offensive minds of the last 30 years. And I don’t think anyone can rival him in terms of putting together an offensive coaching staff. Just during his time in Washington, he had guys like his son, Sean McVay and Matt LaFleur working under him.

We could and probably will do a lot worse.

a couple of things ... there aren't many decent coaches who would be willing to take the Jets job ... even with Sam ... because of the fucking idiot GM, and because they're the Jets. Only hope we have is if a decent Offensive oriented guy is offered the job and takes it only if he is placed completely in charge. In other words, he also tells the idiot GM what free agents he is interested in, and who to draft. The fucking idiot GM must follow the new HC's direction. This is the only hope the dog ass Jets have.

Only a desperate coach on his last gasp of hope who is terminally ill and needs the job to pay for food for his dying homeless mother and he lives in a leaky cardboard box on the side of a highway would ever take the jets job. Is shamnahan living in a card board box on the west side highway? If so, the jets may have a good shot of landing him. Otherwise, if the cardboard box is kinda nice and in decent condition, he’ll turn the jets coaching job down and await an offer from a better franchise. I know I would.

Just interviewing her would satisfy the Rooney rule and about 30 other affirmative action type rules. But hiring her I believe gets any teams an automatic 2 wins to start the season.

I dont remember two wins to start the season with Herm or Todd. Do you mean because shes a former government official?
