I dunno fellas. I think things are looking up. We damn near got the W yesterday and we played like crap. That's a testament to Bowles motivating these guys even in the worst of times. 1 or 2 drives different and it's a W. We're not getting embarrassed out there. Quite the opposite. Good players, FAs, the 1 or 2 pieces that we are missing, they know what kind of situation this will be. That's what will make it attractive to come here. We kinda bottomed out roster wise with injuries which are starting to heal. Best part is we have a ton of cap space with laveon bell(or K Hunt) available and probably a top 5 pick. Looks like Trumaine Johnson is starting to find his groove (see pick 6 yesterday). New Jack City has arrived. Spencer Long looking good at guard too. Regular diamond in the rough that guy. Bowles and Co have had a rough go of it for sure but they're figuring it out now. Don't cast them off just so some other org can reap the benefits of our initial growing pains. Besides, you don't change horsess mid stream. Is this a joke? Bowls is lost. I think this is just the blind squirrel scenario. Time to cut bait an home and Mac and bring in an Offensive coach with some fire and a GM that actually knows football. I agree, this team is a joke and it stems from the coaching staff. I have one request, can Bates first, the play calling is pathetic. this team has some talent and they are not being used as should be. Bates then Bowls, in that order.

According to SNY, it's not going to be McCarthy because of Maccagnan the fucking idiot ... here it is ... "Jets probably not the most attractive job," one NFL agent who represents several NFL coaches said. "Having a young quarterback and $100 million to spend is good. But they have nothing else on offense. Plus, how long is (GM) Mike Maccagnan going to be there? That's huge, because a new coach wants to know he'll get time to turn things around."
The Maccagnan issue is a big one, according to multiple NFL sources. The Jets are not expected to fire him after this season, as SNY has reported, even if they fire coach Todd Bowles, which they are expected to do. But Maccagnan has only one more year left on his contract, and the last thing a coach with options will want is to work for a lame-duck GM and an organization that could be in for another major shakeup a year from now.
That issue can be worked out -- perhaps with a short contract extension for Maccagnan. But the talent issue could be harder for the Jets to overcome. They do have a promising, young quarterback in Sam Darnold, but they are weak at almost every other position on offense. On defense, they have pieces to build around, but they don't have a pass rush. And with some terrible returns from their recent drafts, they'll have to make some big splashes in free agency -- which isn't usually the best way to build a team ... and the lack of talent in most positions is all due to the fucking idiot Maccagnan.

I no longer support them until the entire fundamental foundation of the shit pike is changed and Johnson & Johnson have no input on any decisions

If Macc is retained, then a name to keep an eye on is Gary Kubiak.
Supposedly he really wants to get back into coaching. I’d be all for bringing him in.
Highly respected offensive coach, Super Bowl pedigree, had an average QB like Matt Schaub playing at a pro-bowl level in Houston, Shanahan disciple, etc.

I not tolerating this fucking bullshit anymore. No offense at all. Shit draft picks during their fucking rebuild. Shit offense after their rebuild. How does the fuck keep his job. Geno Smith about to get a SB ring before the Jets. Maybe Sanchez too

Sam Darnolds agent was probably holding a voodoo ritual trying to get Darnold past the jets

The Johnson boys can fix this problem this offseason but they are so drunk on power they wont. First fire Bowles and Mac. Bring in Mike Mcarthy and offer him full control to hire his own GM The Johnson give him a 5 year commitment to turn the franchise around offer him 5 year 50 million contract. The Johnsons also announce they will have no input in team operations. If still Mike wont take call in Bill Cowher with the same offer then Shanahan go right down the line. this is the only way they can fix this no more rookie coaches and GMs this team needs a football guy not Rookies with a clueless owner 2nd thinking his staff. Fans everywhere should demand this that they do what Hess did with Parcells or we as fans will not support this franchise anymore.
