Plax shooting himself by holstering his gun in sweatpants is just classic. When was the last time we had a WR close to him? Keyshawn? Don Maynard? I'd take a shot. Hes got three years left on his deal.

Maybe the Giant leap frog the Jets and Nick Bosa falls to the Jets that be about only defensive player I would mind getting other then that go Jonah Williams. For Nick Bosa to drop to the Jets, Giants would need to trade their whole draft to Arizona to move up to #1 and take a QB. If not, no way Arizona doesn't take Bosa first overall... him and Chandler Jones would be like Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram on the Chargers. Then the rep for the 49ers would need to trip on the way to the podium, letting the Jets turn their card in first, because if Arizona traded out, Bosa isn't getting past the Niners. To your point, I would add Josh Allen to the list of defensive players I wouldn't mind the Jets taking if they stayed at #3. Bosa and Allen. Maybe Ed Oliver. Because you can make a case for drafting an edge rusher as a need. But I much prefer going offense, and OL, if at all possible. Got feeling Jets will take Quentin Williams DT Alabama with the 3rd pick just by the way they draft.

What would you be willing to give up for him? Earlier i said next years 1st. Sorry, missed that. I think a first is too much considering recent trades, age, salary and his potential for being disgruntled. Even though a first next year has the value of a second this year in theory. How many years does he have left? I don't know his injury history. Consider that Copper cost a first and he is only 24 and on his rookie deal.

anyone believe in tankathon? It projects an OLB, OG, and a center ... not that we don't need players at each of these positions. After the 3 pick, we're talking early in third and fourth rounds. Anyone thinking they'll trade #3 for a later 1st rounder and a second rounder or more? Is Maccagnan the fucking idiot likely to do something like this?

Obviously it depends on what the offer is but if I we're the GM trading down is definitely on the table.

Trading back for a later 1st rounder plus a second or more would be ideal. Do I trust Macc can pull it off? No. This team has a lot of needs. OT, Edge rusher, WR, OG, even CB and LB you could say. Trading down and recouping picks gives them the best chance at filling holes. I just dont have much faith Macc can pull it off... trading up is one thing, trading down is another.

Hes got three years left on his deal. Braylon. But they don't last long. Can't throw to WRs w/o protection. OLine first. Pass rusher second.

I wonder if the Jets feel they are ready to go in that direction though this year as their 1st might actually net them two firsts or some such haul.

I suggested next years first. I will respectfully disagree. We need to pass on AB and build our shitty oline up. Look at the Steelers and the Colts. We need a great Oline not one great player. Oline helps Sam in so many ways. If Mac had been building the oline instead of the DB we might be in a better position for AB.

If they took next years 1st and we could trade back and pick up a 2d we could rebuild our oline this year. New oline, Bell, Brown, Enunwa, Anderson and Sam sounds lethal to me.
