One look at the draft order reveals something very interesting
3. Jets 4. Raiders 6. Giants 7. Jaguars 10. Broncos 11. Bengals
Each of those teams will be calling the Jets inquiring a trade up. The most likely party: The Broncos. Why? The need for a QB, the need to jump the Raiders for one, the need to jump 3 other QB-needy teams, the need to give their new HC a splash of a player with whom to grow old. Every team hears offers to trade down, but given these teams in their relatively similar situations, a good deal will inevitably come. Will Mac pull the trigger?
There are 7 players with whom I would be happy - Bosa, Williams, Allen, Williams, Little, Taylor, Ford. While a trade down to 10 would be risky, it will probably be worth the bounty. Maybe a trade with a desperate Jaguars team makes more sense.
Unless Bosa is available, the Jets simply must make this trade.

Trade with the Skins for two 1sts a 2 and a three. Take Alex Smith too if we only have to eat one year and there's no ongoing cap hit.

Its good that both Jones and Lock came across as legit in the Senior Bowl.
Def a QB off the board in the top 3........

The half mic.k half Guinea fucking idiot GM maccaghan will fuck it up. He’ll trade sideways and take an overrated DE who can’t pressur the QB. Will he ever draft, sign or get OT or offensive weapons for Sam? Nope, he’s a fucking idiot.

Trading down is really the only scenario that makes sense for me. Then get OLine and WR.

Not sure why so many are convinced that multiple teams are chomping at the bit to trade away multiple picks to move up in a shit QB draft class.
Especially when multiple veterans like Foles, Flacco, Eli, Tannehill, etc could be available this offseason.
In all likelihood we’re going to be sticking at #3 and taking the best available DE/DT on the board.
And with Gregg Williams having us switch to a base 4-3, I’m fine with that.
I’d love it if there was an elite, bluechip LT or WR set to go in the Top 5, but that simply isn’t the case.

I'm ok with Gase and Williams taking Macc into a conference room, giving him a tune-up, and telling him who to pick.

[br I dont know that the skins have the money for a FA QB which is why I suggest taking Alex Smith back in a trade. Only if we have to eat one year and theres no cap penalty later.

Good thinking ... but I can't help looking at what the Raiders could offer. They could give us #7 and # 27 in the second round and still have numbers 24 & 35 & 66 in the second and third rounds for themselves ... With Denver we're talking #s 10 & 41 ... which is okay. Not much difference looking at what Tampa, Jax, and the Bengals have to offer. Hope for some reason the Raiders want the # 3. But then again, they could just as easily trade for the number 1 or 2 giving up the same two picks. But I'm with you about getting as many early picks as possible.
